This might be the millionth time Draco Malfoy was visiting Diagon Alley, but this also might be the first time that the purpose of their visit was him and only him. He had come shopping with his mother for buying the things he required for Hogwarts. He was thrilled, and this was evident to his mother. She saw her little boy Draco staring out into Diagon Alley through the window of The Leaky Cauldron curious to see other wizards of his age shopping. Soon, his eyes fell on someone he had never seen before in that area. She had probably the most extraordinary hair he'd ever laid eyes on. They were bushy and frizzy and the most amazing shade of brown. Her eyes were as brown as her hair but he couldn't take his eyes away from her hair. He saw her as she was coming out of Flourish and Blotts, her hair bouncing and had her books in her hand. Strangely, they seemed a lot more than were required.

'Mother?' he called.

'Yes darling?' she replied in her crisp but somehow polite voice.

'Have you ever seen that family before?'

She turned around to look in the direction her son was pointing.

'Why no dear, I haven't.' She replied. 'Why do you ask?'

'Well, honestly mother, I've never seen hair like that. Do you think she did something to them to keep them that way? You think I can do that? Will it suit me? Have you ever tried it?'

His mother laughed. He was right, hair like that did not seem natural. But she highly doubted it was a spell.

'Well darling. It's certainly not a spell that I've heard of.' she said.

He couldn't help but think, that was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He might just begin to fancy her! Crazy as it seemed, he smiled at that thought and saw her smile and leave with her parents. 'Such cute teeth' he mumbled.

'Did you say something dear? '
'No mother, nothing at all.' He replied with a smirk.
