"That battle did not go as planned," Jason thought as he plummeted through the air, desperately trying to get control of the winds, "You know, I got this," He thought, stabilizing his fall, slowing to a more reasonable rate, "Ah, land, that's better than hitting the water, you know I'm cool with Percy's dad, but still, not my first choice. Ok, just have to slow this down, nice soft landing, wait, what's that red spot? It can't be... it is! Bricks! AAAAAH!" The mere sight of those dreaded rocks caused Jason to lose control of his fall, crashing down to earth and once again being rendered unconscious by his old friend.

Jason blinked sun shone brightly in his eyes but he caught glimpses of long caramel hair, slightly almond shaped eyes and the vague scent of cinnamon.

"Welcome Hero, how do you feel?" he heard a gentle voice say, shielding his eyes, he saw her.

"I'm Calypso, and you are..."

"Jason." He said, standing.

"I knew it, Jason, a hero's name, a gift from the gods." she breathed, tilting her head back to gaze into his captivating blue eyes. "Come I've prepared dinner."

Jason didn't know who the girl was or even where he had landed, but it felt like it was meant to be. He followed her to an elaborately set dinning room table laid with a lavish feast.

"Please, sit, this may be an island but it doesn't mean there's no culture, I made this table myself."

As they ate they looked over the quiet sea and the golden sunset, everything she said only convinced Jason more and more that this was love. Their eyes met and they both slowly leaned in...

Leo sat bolt upright in bed, panting. It was a dream, no a nightmare, Calypso loved him, not Jason, but still, it left him feeling unsettled. Over breakfast he kept sneaking glances at Jason to see if there were any signs of having met the most amazing girl in the world, but all seemed normal. Just to be safe he marched up to Jason after breakfast,

"Hey man..." he started, with an attempt to sound casual, but the intensity grew as he continued "you were here all night, right?"

"um...yeah? I was on watch till about midnight...why?"

"Just wondering...but ALL NIGHT, right, I mean not a moment off of the ship?"

Jason sighed,

"Well, I didn't want to say anything, since nothing happened, but apparently, you found out somehow..." Leo's heart constricted, he froze. Jason looked at his feet, "a gryphon stole my pizza, so I flew off the ship to go get it, but it was only a few seconds."

Leo audibly sighed, "wow man you really gotta keep better track of your food." he said nudging Jason in an effort to cover his complete relief, Calypso was his and always would be.
