A/N: A quick little one shot to see how things go.
Rosario + Vampire - One Shot - Kokoa
Kokoa loved her Onee-sama. The way only a sister could love a sister. It was a great love Kokoa had for Moka. Kokoa loved everything about Moka, everything except Tsukune.
Tsukune made Moka weak in Kokoa's eyes. Moka was supposed to be a pillar of strength. A monolith. Tsukune made Moka seem more like a regular person, and Kokoa hated it.
To make it even worse, Tsukune made Kokoa weak. He was kind and romantic and gentlemanly and worldly and, and, and... Kokoa could spout his virtues for a long time, not that she would ever voice it. She had a great love for Tsukune, too. It greatly conflicted her.
Which was greater? Her love of her Onee-sama or her love of Tsukune? Then something to factor in was her fear of her Onee-sama. In the same heartbeat Tsukune made Moka weak and strong. Kokoa knew, she KNEW, that she'd have to get her father to dictate Kokoa was to get Tsukune in order for her to keep him.
She also knew it would never happen. Father loved Moka the most. Respected Akira the most. Had use for Kahula the most. And Kokoa the very least of all of them.
Their father barely even knew Kokoa existed.
Moka was barely better.
Tsukune, though, was genuine. And that's why Kokoa fell in love with him. That's why Kokoa truly confessed to him and asked him out on a date. She tempted the wrath of several powerful monsters when she did so, her sister included.
It was not meant to be.
He was kind and gentle in his rejection of her. She loved him more as her heart broke.
"Just one kiss, then. Please," she asked of him.
He was not offically with her sister so he had no reason to say no. The kiss was tender and sweet, even if he wasn't really into it. It was as magical as Kokoa had imagined because she beleived it to be.
They found her the next day swinging from her rafters.
A note accompanied her death.
Only he cares. And it will not be. Be pleased Father, you have one less mouth to feed. Be pleased Onee-sama, I will not bother you anymore.
I love you, Tsukune. Forever and a day.
