I stared back at the only person in the room. I had become one of those people that you would never believe, someone who couldn't contain their story in any form that would be understood by anyone. At home, I could sit for hours remembering how many stories I'd read where some teenage girl was swept off into another world. Most of the time it would be some realm they already knew, one they had read about or seen on television. Hours of my time were spent reading stories like these written by fans all over the world and each time I laughed a little. I thought that it was the most cliche thing in the world for a girl to write a story about another girl just like them falling all over the character they read about.

"Hey, are you alright?" He smiled cheekily, shielding me from small bits of falling debris. Laughing, I forced him away from me playfully.

"Yeah, you're an idiot though."

I had become that girl alright but I definitely had a fun time defying the logic of fan fiction. I guess it's about time I started this shindig of a cliche story, let's go.
