These two are by no means my OTP, but I did want to branch out and try new things. I hope you enjoy though!

The wet hiss of tires against rocky gravel almost lulled Remus; it wasn't raining outside, but the closer he drove to the creek the damper the environment felt. It was mid-November and an eerie chill had crept around the creek; not a soul dwelled in these parts this time of year and Remus appreciated the solitude. For a minute he almost forgot about why he was driving to the creek, until Sirius suddenly yelped and interrupted his thoughts.
"There it is!" he squawked and pointed fitfully out the side window. "Almost there now – excellent!"
"Please don't stick your head out the window, Sirius; remember what happened last time?"
"I know, I know," he groaned with a roll of his eyes, but obeyed nonetheless. "I just love the creek, Remus; don't you?"
"Nn," was the reply, and Sirius was unsure of whether the man agreed with him or not. It didn't matter much because Remus had reluctantly settled to bring him up here in the end; it might have took some persuasion, but that wasn't entirely boring either!
"You can go as far as the stone. I don't mean the stone that's submerged 8 feet under, because I am not coming to your resc…" Remus cut his speech short when he stumbled over Sirius' shoes, saving himself just in time against the hood of the giant truck.
Looking up with a glare, he saw Sirius transform into the giant black dog that was Padfoot, and watched him race down the stony path, kicking mud in his wake. He didn't hate the creek, but he didn't like it either; it was cold and damp, and he didn't like the cold or the damp. It was quiet up here though and Remus found the answer to most of his frustrations in silence.
He perched himself against a crumbling wall and crossed his arms and legs, staring over the water. The huge dog was hurtling along the bank now, his wild hair slicked back in the wind and Remus was sure if he was closer that he would hear the beating of paws. With a tidal splash, he watched as Sirius hurtled himself into the water, jumping against the gentle current and disappearing behind rocks. He would pause every so often and look in Remus' direction, tongue lolling and eyes wide; each time a resounding bark would echo across the creek and Remus was sure it said 'I love you.'
