Hello everyone! I am Caroline and the one who had the original idea is Emma. Emma and I wanted to post this one here (and on Wattpad) to get some idea's, as we are a bit dry for idea's at the moment. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy, and we would appreciate it so much if you took the time to give some ideas or some constructive criticism in the reviews. Thank you all so much!

Disclaimer: We do not own the Percy Jackson universe, we are two teenage girls with a writing fetish. Uncle Rick is the true owner :)

Enjoy :)

Have you ever wished you were normal? Well, I certainly have and so have hundreds of kids like me. But don't worry. You're probably normal. In my life, we are much more than that.

I'm Jackie Nelson and I'm 12 years old. I live in Hawaii with lots of sunny blue skies. I go to Ewa Makai Middle School where I was able to work my way up to an honor student, against all odds. For a kid with Dyslexia and ADHD, that's pretty good. As I said before, I do pretty good in school, usually A's and B's. I made great friends here at school and at my Karate classes. One of my friends is Kat Peterson. Let's just say she is kind of dark... I mean her dad is African-American and her step-mom is Japanese. Then she always wears black but is cheerful in her own way, especially when she talks. She even takes Karate with me and so does her dad.

My second friend is Alina Cullom. She's a bit weird, but she loves the cold so she always wished that there was snow in Hawaii. She does Taekwondo. All three of us have an urge to fight. Me, I'm different from these two. I'm always cheerful, I love blue and I love clear skies. The blue skies with no rain in the day and millions of beautiful stars gleaming bright at night, wow. That's the best thing there is.

Also, I love to read and my most favorite book ever is the Percy Jackson series. (I really love Greek mythology) Do you know that book? If you do, great! If you don't you need to read it ASAP because this book has a lot to do with this story!

Anyway, these two idiots I call friends also have Dyslexia and ADHD but they can handle it better than I can, they still can sit still for longer periods of time, and read better than I can. I have an instinct of being the joker of my class, and it usually gets me into some sort of trouble, though it isn't major, not enough to ruin my status as an honor student at least.

I like all my teachers and they tolerate me, if not like me, back but there is one "evil" teacher at my school. His name is Mr. John, the P.E. teacher. He's buff and fit with a military-style crew haircut. I mean, he needs to be in the military camp teaching soldiers drills not us middle schoolers. Crazy world. He will always gives me and my friends the cold smile and throw something random at us, almost as a test, and we would always catch it...he only throws pencils and stuff that is light- otherwise he would be fired for "harming" a child or something like that. Still, we catch it. It's like a reflex. Then he gives us another cold deadly smile. Don't get me wrong, I love this school but that teacher can make anyone scared enough to leave this island behind.

Anyway, today Mr. John was even harsher than normal. Today we had to play dodgeball. He announced jocks vs. the normals. Seriously, that's just mean. Then, he said he will be joining the game and sided with the jocks. When I say "jocks", these guys are the biggest kids in the school. They are the bullies of our school; they don't scare me even though they look like miniature Mr. John's. But, with coach playing with them today…the outlook for our side looked bleak.

We started our game and, of course, the jocks were winning by like a hundred points. Normals kept on flying out of the court. But the funny thing was that they were aiming at the other kids, and I was the only one untouched. Then, when everyone was out, they all pointed their eyes towards me. Coach came up to the front and started to... transform? The kids in the back started to change form; it looked like they were wax under a candle… slowly they became a creature that was at least 10 feet tall, and their eyes started to mix together to one eye. They sorta looked like Cyclopes.

Coach started to get bigger and his clothes started to rip apart. His ball turned into a dark sword. He started to grow in height and at least 20 ft tall he stopped. That's when his hair began to grow. It grew out to thick, braided shadowy ropes of coarse hair His eyes, already cold as diamonds, turned weirdly glittery and as hard as that rock. A Giant. I would know that ugly body and tall stature anywhere. Remember how I said that I love Greek mythology and read the Percy Jackson series? Yeah. That's how I know. In fact I even know who this Giant is.

"Clytius" I announced. Clytius is the giant that's supposed to destroy Hecate, the magic goddess. I am facing the giant thats the bane of magic, GREAT! THAT'S THE LAST THING I NEEDED ON A FRIDAY!

"Very good, Jackie Nelson." Clytius praised holding a Stygian Iron sword, just like Nico (the son of Hades) in the Percy Jackson books, but this sword was just a bit bigger. Actually, I lied, it was twice the size of Nico's sword. His voice was now deeper and a bit raspy, less than nails on chalkboard, more like the way you sounds when you are sick.

"How are you here? You're a myth." As soon as I said it, I regretted it. In the book, it said that calling a god or creatures a myth will make it worse. Clytius flexed his muscles.

"Hasn't anyone told you that you shouldn't call us myths?"

"No... Anyway what are you even doing here and why do you want me?" My first thought was to keep it distracted...but from what?

"Oh you are very special to us, Nelson. More special than any other Demigod or mortal out there. These fine Cyclopes and I will take you to our home, where we can help our uncle and father rise since our loving mother died short after she awoken. Our father needs the blood of three half-bloods that are even more powerful than Zeus' children. With that we will be able to conquer the entire universe!"

"Huh. Sounds fun. But why do you guys want to conquer the world? Don't you want everyone to fear you? Don't you want panic and fear when they hear your name? You conquer the world and you won't be able to be scary anymore. What's the point in that?"

The Cyclopes looked at each other uneasily muttering a few words and then looked at the giant. Clytius hesitated. But he said the very words I didn't want to hear.

"Good try, young one, but the world ITSELF will fear us. There are other gods in the cosmos. We will destroy them all. They WILL worship us!"

All the Cyclopes raised their clubs in satisfaction. They seem to really like that plan. I need to do something, I thought. There are a bunch of kids here watching this. But then again, Clytius is bane to Hecate, the master of the Mist that covers the monster world from the mortal world. He must be using it. But I don't know what they're seeing but by the look of their faces, it was definitely terrifying.

"Let these kids go! They have seen things that will terrify them for life no matter how much the Mist covers it."

"Actually I'm enjoying their faces. You see, they think that you have a gun and trying to kill us. We are the victims. That will definitely ruin your honor student badge and you will be expelled for that for sure. It will ruin your entire life!"

"You're going down magic boy!" I cried out.

"How? With no weapon or a god by your side, how will you ever beat me AND the Cyclopes?"

"What...? I need a god?"

"You read the story of Percy Jackson right? Well don't you remember that the Giants can only die with the help of a demigod and a god working together? So you need one of the Olympians to help you."

"JACKIE!" Yelled Kat from the door.

"Kat? What are you doing here? Get OUT!" I screamed back, across the gym.

"HERE!" She tossed me two small objects. I caught them and they were rings. Both had a design of a meander Greek design on them. One was light blue with dark blue design and the other one was dark blue with light blue design.

"Put them on each of your hands! Then squeeze your hand tight!"

That's exactly what I did. Then immediately the rings got bigger till they were brass knuckles. There were all kinds of buttons on the palm handles with a Greek letter. It must of meant different qualities. I presses the one that said knives. I press that and it turned into a wicked knuckle knives. I gave a smile that would cause Kronos himself to run in terror. Then I charge at the monsters with all my might.

The next 10 minutes were a blur to me. I only saw terrified faces on the monsters and me laughing like crazy. I was punching and golden powder showered the place. The Cyclopes were all disintegrated by the time I decided to catch my breath. Clytius stared at me with awe mixed with indifference. Then he got over his shock. He raised his sword and lunged at me. I dodged to the side and I rolled through his legs. I got up and stabbed his back with my knuckles knives. He roared in pain but his back started to heal as soon as he put his hand on it.

"You'll need to make a bigger cut than that if you want to kill me." he said, laughing slightly at my "weak" attempt.

"Thanks for the tip!"
He roared and sliced his sword sideways. This time I wasn't fast enough. The tip of his blade jabbed into my side. Pain overtook my anger. My side was bleeding like crazy. Clytius was winning. But I knew that people will get hurt and so will my friends if I give up. If I let him win, it will be a step closer to awakening his monstrous father. Many people will die. I won't let that happen. I started to get up uneasily. I raised my fists and ran straight to him. Probably the most stupid thing I ever done, and I am the queen of dumb things. I ran to his back and jumped. I raise my knife and stabbed him on his shoulder. Then I put all my weight in it and slide down his back while my knife sliced through him. This was too big a cut for him to use to heal. With a roaring pain, Clytius disintegrated into a fine gold powder. I had a feeling he'll be back for revenge though.

"Who said I need to have god to kill you?" That's when the pain came back to me. My vision began to grey at the edges before I blacked out from the pain. The last thing I saw were Kat and Alina next to me calling my name, at the gym wall bursting open.

One last note, thank you for taking your time to read this. Constructive criticism is welcome, and flames will be used to make our toast. Thanks again
