Tomoe to Kenshin,
By Aeralea

"In a meadow cast in the green of the withered bronze sheath -
The passing of the burning memory of our past forever engraved in the cycle as the ashes rise to yield new life within the grasses, There, a small, wooden cross - a rememberance of a journey's end, that marked in you a new beginning, That is where you can find a memory of me, to soothe you when your heart is clenched by a fist of burden - remembering what we had, what we did and what we learned, love and life striding hand in hand across the emerald waves so clean that even you would wonder if any past so terrible yet so beautiful as ours could have existed in this peaceful sanctuary, and after visiting dont walk away with sorrow in your heart, for there will be none in mine, knowing that i loved you, knowing that you loved me, but more to know that you are now newly loved, and that this time your love is pure and right, without the knife of rage-the snare of vengeance piercing the chains which bound us together-ready to snap at the slightest motion towards the fate we sealed when we deceived each other despite our love. But if you ever dare to begin to forget your new love, i hope you run across this field again - the memory returned, there i will be, to again remind you to love."
