Chase Randall woke up with his head throbbing, brow sweating, and stomach turning. He groaned, looking at the time. It was 9:30. His shift had started an our ago. It took every ounce of strength for him to get out of bed. He protectively held his stomach in one arm and started to leave his apartment.

"Chase where were you?!" Ms. Morgan asked furiously. "I'm sorry Kendall, i accidently overslept." He defended. Chase didn't want the others to know he wasn't feeling well. Kendall had noticed his kiwi accent getting weaker. She started to look at him, his face was pale as snow, he was trembling even tough he had many layers of clothes, and looked as if he were about to pass out. She noticed his hand was wrapped around his stomach. The other rangers had began to notice how terrible the black ranger looked and gathered around.

"Chase are you feeling ok?" Kendall finally asked. The other rangers waited for his response. Chase knew he couldn't tell them. He never liked people knowing when he was injured or sick. "I'm fine." He lied. "Come on bro, what's wrong?" Tyler asked. "I already told you, nothing." Chase responded. "Do you not trust us?" Shelby asked. "I trust you, but apparently you don't trust me." Chase said. He was trying to turn this around on them.

Seeing the black ranger wasn't going to tell them anything, Kendall placed her hand firmly on Chase's forehead and cheeks. She bounced back, "Chase you're burning up!" She cried. the customers began to look at them. She smiled and the team pushed him into the back. "Why won't you tell us what's wrong?" Riley asked. Chase put his head down, bringing a hand to his head and groaning. He had forgotten that his entire team was in front of him. The pain seemed to engulf him and his thoughts.

Chase started to stumble around. He hit his side on a table. He yelped from the pain that was added on. Falling to the ground, the world started to spin out of place. His fellow rangers came running to his aid. They were all blurry. "Don't... Chase... Fine... Home..." Were the only words he could grasp onto. He closed his eyes and slipped into unconsciousness. "Get him to his apartment! I'm going to close down the cafe and meet you there!" Ms. Morgan instructed. they carefully picked up Chase and carried him into Tyler's Jeep.

When Chase finally regained consciousness, something cold was pressed against his forehead and his team was surrounding his bed. Even keeper was there. "He's awake!" Riley shouted. The rest of the team snapped to attention and looked over at Chase. Chase was relived to see his friends. "How are you?" They all asked. "I'm fine." He assured them. They all rolled their eyes, knowing he was lying.

"Please Chase!" Kendall pleaded. She was trying to take his temperature, though he was refusing. "No! You don't need to take care of me!" He argued. Riley came to his side, "Please Chase." He pleaded. Chase lightened. He allowed the cold metal to be put inside his mouth. When it was finally taken out, Ms. Morgan almost shouted. "What's wrong?" The skateboarder asked. "Nothing." She lied.

Chase couldn't keep his eyes open an longer. He was exhausted. His eyes closed and he began to dream. "We need to call a doctor now!" Kendall said as soon as she was sure he was asleep. "Why?" Riley asked. "His thermometer said 112!" She panicked. Ivan jumped up, "Indeed we do!" He boomed. Ivan was at Chase's bedside, wondering if his friend would be ok. "Call...Doctor." He said. Shelby grabbed her phone and called the doctor. "Chase isn't going to like this." Riley mumbled. "Why?" Kendall asked. "Chase hates doctors. You really think he's going to let one see him?" The green ranger questioned. Kendall hadn't thought that far. What was he going to do when the doctor got here?
