AN: Just a little thing I wrote after ''Closing Time'' Because I screamed when I saw those two, I was so happy that they were featured and they just looked so happy and adorable(: So if you don't like fluff, then I wouldn't read this because I think it's pretty fluffy.

So enjoy and I'd really appreciate it if you let me know what you think!

Rory followed behind her, carrying the shopping bags in his hands as they walked away from the little girl who was beaming happily. A smile played on his lips; it was his wife who had made that happen. Amy Pond, the success. He knew that she didn't need space and time to be fantastic. She didn't even need all of this fame.

She had always been amazing.

''Oh, Rory, did you see her? She was so cute.'' Amy gushed once they were away from hearing distance.

He smiled adoringly. ''Aren't you used to this by now? Your adverts are everywhere.''

She shook her head sheepishly, her smile fading suddenly. She stayed quiet for a second. ''Do you think... Do you think he saw it?''

Rory sighed inwardly. He knew she was still hurting as she missed her best friend. The Doctor had told her to stop waiting and that was what she was trying to do, she was trying to move on with her life. But he knew that she was still longing for him to return, even though she denied it every single time. Rory understood. He would never be as close to The Doctor as Amy was- is, but he still missed it.

But living in normal time was just as good. They were living a stable life now where time could only move forward. They fought over whose turn it was to do the dishes, they argued over what to watch on TV, they disagreed on what music to listen to in their car.

He didn't care though. Because they ate breakfast in bed, they stayed up late and spent their Sunday's sat around their house doing nothing, just being perfectly content with being together. They even went shopping at the supermarket late at night so the aisles were empty and they could take their shoes off and slide on the floor, like they used to when they were kids and Aunt Sharon would drag them along to help her carry the bags.

Rory would always miss the Doctor and that life, but he had no complaints about the one he had right now.

''Um... yeah, I think he has,'' He nodded, his smile widening when hers did. ''He'll be proud of you.''

''Yeah?''

His face got closer to hers. ''Not as proud as I am though,'' Because that was impossible.

Amy grinned happily, placing a soft kiss on his lips. ''I love you,''

''Always,'' he responded.

He knew she knew what it meant; it meant the same thing it had always meant. It would always be the two of them. The Doctor or no Doctor. No matter how much it hurt not having him in their lives, they both knew it would kill them not to have each other- it almost had before.

And their love would always remain, above everything.

Two teenage girls approached nervously tentatively. ''Excuse me, can we get your autograph?'' one of them asked, giggling.

Amy shared a look with Rory, biting her bottom lip to fight her huge smile. ''Of course, what are your names?''

Rory handed her a pen sheepishly, fighting a chuckle.

Nope, he definitely could not be more proud.
