Notes:

Crossover - This is a crossover between Nurarihyon no Mago, Kamisama Kiss and InuYasha.

Writing Style - This is my first attempt on writing a fanfiction, a cross-over fanfiction, and it is in English, English is not my first language, it may contain grammar errors, spellings and redundancy of word usage (because my English is limited to the stuff I read and hear from).

Universe – Nura takes place after the end of the manga (Nue is defeated), Inuyasha takes place after three years from Naraku's defeat in the anime (just a few weeks after Kagome returned), and Kamisama Kiss takes place before Tomoe's curse (from Kuromaru) activates.

Characters – A lot of characters might fall out-of-character especially from InuYasha because it's been years since I last watched that anime.

POVs – I'll mostly use the third person's point of view.

Culture/References – I'm not familiar with the Japanese culture so I might point out some wrong information (please correct me if I get something wrong ).

OtherBOLD means a word is emphasized or an onomatopoeia and ITALICS means thought.

DISCLAIMER- I do not own Nurarihyon no Mago, Kamisama Hajimemashita/Kiss, and InuYasha.

Chapter 1

A year has passed after defeating the Nue, the townsfolk in Ukiyoe town, somehow, calmed down and had nearly forgotten the chaos the youkai brought them. And the news about a certain boy that goes by the name 'Nura Rikuo' being a youkai and the destroyer of the world had slowly dissipated and turned into rumors.

Rikuo's school has a school filed trip in (insert nanami's place). It'll be a 5 days trip. As Tsurara runs around the main house looking for resources to pack her alarm goes on signaling that they are late and the bus might leave them.

The three, Rikuo, Tsurara, and Aotabo, arrived at the school gate just in time because the students were already lined up and ready to ride inside the bus.

"Hey Lord of darkness!" Kyutsugo greeted and ran to them, Shima following behind.

"SHHH! Kyutsugo-kun! Don't call me that, I don't want people suspecting me again" Rikuo nervously whispered at the happy-go-lucky teen.

"hehehe, sorry ..." kyutsugo giggled then whispered " ~lord of darkness~ " leaving Rikuo with a worried face.

After everybody got inside, the bus started and safely drove out of town. They arrived at a small cheap-looking hotel and each carried their own luggage. Their teachers, each assigned on their respective classes, lead them to their quarters.

At the quarters of Rikuo's class their teacher announced "Alright everyone, I know you guys are excited and can't wait to go and check out the place but we need to ..." the teacher showed the schedule and places they are going to, one of the places mentioned was an old shrine which the girls seemed to be excited about.

"What's wrong with them?" shima asked kyutsugo about the girls.

Maki heard and answered "It's the Mikage Shrine, It's a shrine of love and matchmaking, pray to it and the shrine god will give he's blessings to your partner!" with a happy tone.

"Why are you so pumped up? You don't have anyone to be blessed wi-"then shima got a bump on his head realizing the insult he just gave out.

"Why is it starting to get colder?" one of their classmates noticed the change of temperature.

Rikuo knew where or who made the room temperature drop. He saw Tsurara and Kana together, and it looked like they were having a mental fight with each other.

"Lenaga-san, I will not let you have Master Rikuo!" Tsurara whispered.

"Wha-what are you talking about, but I won't let you defeat me!" Kana whispered back.

Then Kiyutsugu whispered something to his self while reading his phone, loud enough for Rikuo to hear. "...but it says that the Mikage shrine is a shrine of marriage..."

Rikuo reacted in thought 'then why would a middle school trip choose a marriage shrine for a location?'

The teacher finished telling the students about their trip and decided to dismiss them.

Noon came, after lunch, Rikuo's class are preparing to leave for their first trip, to the Mikage Shrine. Almost everyone in their class are already outside except for Rikuo and his assigned roommates, Kiyutsugu, Shima, and Kurata. Tsurara was worried why his young master is late so she, forcibly, entered the boy's room area. Luckily their classmate who was assigned as the 'dorm-like-manager' is already outside.

She searched for her Master's room and found it unlocked. She slowly opened the room, not minding herself trespassing into another's room, especially since it's a guy's room, and heard an unfamiliar voice so she stopped midway.

"Stop trembling you idiot." A guy whispered inside.

"But this is already trespassing." Another said.

"It's not if no one finds us out. This is for the newspaper club anyway." Another person said.

" Yeah, I've been doing a lot of research about Nura Rikuo, if those news about the yokai incident last year and him are related, we'll truly have a great article" The leader of the group said. Tsurara, just on the other side of the door, got angry and she accidentally wasn't able to hold her freezing powers which let out cold air to enter the room.

The five boys in the room notices the temperature, then suddenly the door slammed itself shut. This warned the boys. At a corner of the room something dark appeared, a shadow, it floated at the corner and there were snowflakes around it.

All of their attention were focused on that shadow... until something popped out of it. A woman in a dark blue shade, her hair looked drenched and it covered her face revealing only a sinister grin. The boys screamed and ran towards the door but the door was locked, they tried to knock loudly but there was no one around in the area. One decided to kick it down, the guy pried his friends to make way for him, he was ready to swing his feet towards the door, but before the impact, the door suddenly bursted open by itself. The guy slipped on his other foot, because there wasn't anything for his feet to throw the force for the swing he made. His friends dragged him out the room and ran away.

"That's what you get for rummaging into Master's room" Tsurara proudly said, she returned to her student form and tried to fix the mess the newspaper club left. Then footsteps were heard outside the room, it sounds like a group was running.

"YOUUKAAAAI!" The door suddenly opened, revealing Kiyotsugu's happy face, and is expecting to see a youkai. "Oh, it's only Oikawa-san."

Rikuo, Shima and Kurata followed behind. "Tsurara? Don't tell me you're the cause why those guys earlier are screaming..." Rikuo narrowed his stare on his bodyguard.

Tsurara giggled in guilt. She was aware that their supreme commander strictly said to not use any yokai powers on humans. "They were snooping around your room. So I just had to... I'm sorry." She explained. Rikuo just sighed, it wasn't necessary to scold her now since it already happened.

"Hey guys, teach's going to scold us non-stop if were late." Shima worriedly said. Then everyone rushed outside, Tsurara saw her classmates from the newspaper club who are still trembling in fear. So she just laughed at them.

They safely arrived at the Mikage Shrine, after a few reminders from their teacher, the students climbed up the stairs and wandered around the shrine.

Maki and Tori dragged Kana and Tsurara up the stairs. Kana went along but Tsurara seemed to be struggling not to come with them.

"No-I don't wanna!" Tsurara cried as Maki is pulling her up the shrine's stairs.

"What's wrong Oikawa-san? It'll be fun if we girls go together." Maki explained while trying to pull Tsurara and making her stop from returning back to the bus.

Maki still tried to pull Tsurara but she was too stubborn, Tori and Kana sighed and asked Maki to stop.

"Why?" Tori asked. "A while ago you were declaring war with Kana-chan for Nura-san's heart." With what Tori said, Kana and Tsurara blushed in embarrassment.

"Did you call me?" The girls turned around, seeing Rikuo, and the guys with him. Tsurara was left shocked as she saw her Master and Kurata in the shrine grounds.

"Master-" Tsurara stuttered in worry. "Are you alright!? You're not in pain!?"

Everyone got confused, Rikuo looked fine, why Tsurara would ask that, they all thought.

"If you're talking about the shrine's enchantment, then you shouldn't worry." Kurata uttered, this took everyones attention to him.

"What's an enchantment?" Shima asked in the background.

"An enchantment is-" Kiyutsugu interrupted, and walked in the middle of the group. " the shrine God's barrier. It is present at every shrine to keep evil beings out of its territory."

"By evil beings..." Kana muttered. Then everyone, excluding the non-humans, looked at Rikuo.

Rikuo blinked twice at their stares. "I don't feel anything..."

"Maybe cause you're mostly human." Kiyotsugu guessed. "But Kurata..." He looked at Kurata and so did everyone.

"As I said, you don't have to worry about the enchantment..." The biggest guy in the group assured. "The barrier is pretty weak."

"See." Then Maki forcefully pulled Tsurara in her position and she lost her balance and tripped, kneeling in her knees and nearly hitting her head on the edge of the stairs. "Ah~ sorry! I pulled too hard. You okay Oikawa?"

"Ye-yeah..." Tsurara assured, sweating in panic after that near death trip she made.

Then everyone continued to climb up the stairs until they reached the shrine. The girls rushed towards the altar to pray and give respect to the Land God. They also wandered around and took photos, like how school trips do…

After their time was up, the teacher called them and the students obediently followed and returned to the bus. Rikuo's group, though, were the last one to return. As soon as they reached the Tori gate to exit, everyone turned around to face the shrine and bowed to show their respect and farewell.

Their group walked down the stairs, Maki and Tori ran down first, Kiyutsugu and Shima had a faster pace because Kiyutsugu had something to do at the bus, Kana and Kurata walked together followed by Rikuo and then Tsurara.

Tsurara noticed Rikuo kept patting his pockets, these actions worried the Yuki-onna. "Rikuo-sama, did you lose something?" Tsurara asked right away.

Rikuo slowed down his pace to a stop and faced Tsurara. "Tsurara... Have you seen my phone?" This alerted the snow girl.

"Did you lose them at the shrine?" She asked. Rikuo tried to make Tsurara not worry about it and not make a fuss.

"No, that phone was given to you by Wakana-sama, you should treasure it! Let's go look for it at the shrine then!" Tsurara pulled Rikuo up the shrine again.

"Tsurara, I'm not even sure if I lost it at the shrine." Rikuo tried to ask Tsurara to stop but the yuki-onna was too stubborn to even disobey her commander. So Rikuo just went along too, maybe it might actually be there.

Down at/Outside the shrine grounds.

"What's with this? There's only few contacts and his inbox's is full of messages by his mother." A guy surrounded by his club mates said. Kana and Kurata were not that far from them so they also heard him.

"Ha~ mama's boy." Another from their group cooed.

Kurata noticed that those group of guys were those who ran in the hotel after Tsurara scared them off.

"They're from the newspaper club." Kana spoke, Kurata got a bit surprised by Kana's presence since he slowly forgot the girl was with him. "I heard from Tsurara that they were snooping around your group's room, because of Rikuo-kun's secret."

Then something they heard from their group caught their attentions.

"Hey look! Isn't this Oikawa Tsurara?" A guy in their group pointed.

"Shh! Someone might hear you!"

"Why's she with him?"

"Maybe she's also..."

The group went silent for a moment. They felt a rather dark and unpleasant presence behind them. They felt like they are targeted by a huge creature and be pounded by it.

A huge voice boomed behind them. "That phone... It does not belong to you." The newspaper club members slowly turned around and saw their classmate, Kurata, an enormously huge classmate.

"The phone." Kana pointed at the phone and gestured her right palm to give it to her. "It's Rikuo-kun's. Thankfully, you kind classmates found it, we would have told the teacher but it seems you already found it." Kana spoke adding a hint of fake concern.

The newspaper club gave the phone to Kana, they didn't have a choice because Kurata seemed like he was about to punch their souls out if they don't give it.

"Well then, where is Rikuo-sama?" Kurata looked at his surroundings only to see a crowd of students with no Rikuo. But what he truly noticed was Kana's extensive hand typing on Rikuo's phone. "What are you doing lenaga-san?"

"Oh, just some cleaning. " she smiled while cleaning Rikuo's gallery of Tsurara's face. "So where's Rikuo-kun?"

Kurata doesn't see his supreme commander in the crowd of students so he assumed that Rikuo isn't here. He also doesn't see Tsurara. He tried to sense Tsurara's presence if she's around and might be with the young master, picking up her presence, it lead to the shrine.

"Tsurara's still at the shrine, maybe Rikuo is with her." He uttered, making Kana a bit angry, or jealous, for stealing Rikuo. Kana rushes back to the shrine and Kurata followed.

"What's happening to the shrine?" Kana asked. As soon as the two of them saw the shrine, they caught it crumbling to pieces, even the torii gate at the stairs was crumbling. "Was the shrine that old when we went here?"

"Something's wrong." Kurata panicked. The absence of presence he sensed ended where they are. "Rikuo-sama and Tsurara's trail ends here, not just that, so are the shrine's guardians."

AN: And that's all for chapter 1. Yey! As for Nanami's place… I don't know what TOWN she's in, it wasn't mentioned in the manga and wiki doesn't help much.
