"Sora, Sora! Guess what?" Roxas shouted once he had reached his house, and slammed open the front door. Upstairs in the room he shared with his brother, a loud, "What?" was heard, and Roxas quickened his pace. He darted up the short flight of stairs, prize in hand, and launched himself into the dim lit room once the door was kicked open. He beamed proudly at Sora's questioning gaze, and held up a large trophy before walking over to his bed and setting it down. Sora quirked a brow before climbing off his own bed and leaping onto his twin's.

Roxas Hikari
1st place
Struggle Tournament

"It's nice, isn't it?" Roxas asked his brother eagerly, a wide grin on his face. Sora was silent, still examining the trophy with wide, unblinking eyes. The lack of response and enthusiasm struck Roxas as odd as he pursed his lips, and shifted his weight from foot to foot. He needed some kind of praise from his twin to know that all his hard work was meant for something. He entered the Struggle tournament for Sora, after all.

"Yeah. Great job, Roxas," Sora sighed at last. He sat back on his heels and flashed Roxas one of his own trademark smiles. The blond exhaled a word of breathless thanks before tackling his brother to his bed. Sora squeaked in surprise as two strong arms wrapped around his torso, bringing him into a bone-crushing embrace.

"R-Roxas! Let me go!" the older of the two protested, limbs flailing about as he tried to pry himself free. Roxas ignored his brother's whines and continued to hold on, but with a less fierce grip. At first, Sora tensed up, fleeting images of the past whizzing through his mind. He finally calmed down though after a few minutes of pointless thrashing around, realizing that Roxas was indeed not going to let go- or at least until he got some kind of reaction out of his twin rather than the usual stinginess.

"You are proud of me, right?" Roxas asked quietly, idly tracing patterns on Sora's chest. Sora gulped, and brushed the hand off.

"Yes, I'm proud of you, but-" he began with a shaky voice, realizing the intentions of Roxas's sudden death embrace.

"Good." the blond whispered before leaning forward to crush his lips down onto his twin's. Sora's enraged squeal was quickly swallowed and forgotten as the kiss deepened, tongues clashing about in a heated battle. It ended after air became an issue, which was in Sora's opinion, much too long. He wiped at his mouth furiously, while casting Roxas a venomous glare with angry, dark eyes.

Roxas averted his own, preparing for a slap which never came. He looked up at his twin with confusion evident in his eyes, eyebrows drawing together incredulously. Sora's glare had softened, but his lips still pressed together in a straight, grim line. He got up before Roxas could say anything else, and walked over to the door.

His hand was already gripping the brass doorknob as he turned to give his brother one last look. Then, without a word, he left.

Roxas didn't need a translator to figure out what Sora meant. He let out a heavy sigh, before falling back onto his mattress with a loud thud.

Oh, someday. Someday, he'd win his brother back. His brother, the only trophy he'd ever wanted to win in his life.
