"Slytherin!"
That one word would change the boy's life forever. Though, whether it was positively or negatively was yet to be determined, it was safe to say nothing would ever be the same for one Harry Potter.
And from the silence radiating from the room, everyone else had realised it too.
Though, most were too shocked to form coherent thought. The Great Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived, the son of Gryffindor's golden girl Lily Potter and one of the most popular Gryffindor Head Boys, James Potter was a Slytherin? What madness was this? Had the world finally gone wrong? I can only assume these were the thoughts echoing around in the mostly empty minds of Hogwarts staff and students.
I know for myself it was possibly the lowest point of my life, by far outstripping the moment I took the Dark Mark. I can even safely say, it was worse than when I met Sirius Black for the first time. Well, maybe that could be thought an exaggeration but make no mistake, it was a horrifying moment for me.
