Remington Steele sighed as he looked down at the manual for his 'home entertainment system' whose parts were spread across his desk. In a sudden motion he threw the manual down onto the desk.

"Oh, drat." He groaned, slamming his fist onto the arm of his chair. Then as the door to his privet office slammed open he jumped to his feet to be confronted by Christina and Rachael, his two detective assistants. "Did you two want something?" he asked, fingering his jacket lapel.

            "Yes, Mr. Steele…"

"Remington. Call me Remington, Chris. You too Rachael."

"Alright,…Remington," Chris continued after being interrupted by Mr. Steele, "There is a young man in the office foyer. He claims that someone has been following him from his house in Miami to here."

"Has he been followed HERE?!?" Mr. Steele asked, glancing nervously out a window that overlooked a busy street.

"He says he has not been." answered Rachael, understanding Mr. Steele's worry. She looked at Chris, and Chris looked at her, they booth knew why Mr. Steele was worried about someone being followed to his office. Not only did it make it harder to go undercover, but before his 'conversion' Mr. Steele had been a criminal, (burglar, swindler, you name it) using many different alias', and he knew almost everyone who was up to no good. This sometimes helped him on his cases. Most of the bad guys did not know that he was now 'good'. Mr. Steele was constantly afraid that one of his old friend would find out and do him in. But on the other hand, it gave his job spice, danger, and he liked that. That was one of the things Chris and Rach loved about him, besides the fact he was strong, handsome, and sly. He was the beneficent of many a crush, but he only showed interest in Rach and Chris.

"Well don't just stand there, bring him in!" Mr. Steele said impatiently to Rach and Chris.

"Oh, right." Rach said awaking from  a daydream and walking to the door, and into the foyer with Chris. Momentarily they were back with a handsome young man.

"Mr. Steele, this is Mr. Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe, this is Mr. Steele." Ruth stated as the two men shook hands.
