"I don't really think before I act. It's part of my charm."
"You plan almost as much as Nate does, and that's a lot."
"Hey," Parker frowned. "I'm nothing like Nate."
Eliot rolled his eyes. "Methodical? Check. Insane? Check."
"Yeah, well, he's stupid."
"I don't think anyone on God's green earth could honestly say that man in stupid."
"Anyone who doesn't listen to you is stupid. He doesn't listen."
"He doesn't have to, he's running the play."
Parker scrunched her nose up. "He gets drunk, ignores your warning that the plan is dangerous, and then he almost gets someone hurt. That's not stupid?"
Eliot sighed. "Fine. It is. But it always works out, which is why he doesn't take it seriously."
"You always plan and make sure we're safe. That's the most important thing to you. He wants to win, and make the mark pay, and push us to be more clever. All you want is to keep us safe. So, yeah, I plan some, but not like I used to. I know you have my back. You're not doing it for your ego, just for us. I'm not like him. Neither are you."
"There's that charm you were talking about," Eliot said with a smile.
Parker shrugged. "What can I say? This whole 'crazy' thing can only last so long. I'm thinking of going for 'suave' next."
