She is a flower.

All her life she has grown and changed, waiting for the day that she would blossom into the women she would someday become.

She did outstanding in everything she put her mind to, setting goals and reaching them. She loved knowledge, loved how it made her grow as a person. With every new task that came her way, she would always approach it with all the passion in the world.

When it came to her friends, she was always the glue of the group, keeping them together. Her loudness, and boldness always stood out and people admired her bravery and willingness to stand up for those she loved. The passion in her thrives and shines when it comes to her friends and family, and there is nothing she would rather do than protect them.

There was a time when she told herself she would never fall in love, and she repressed every feeling she held for the cocky prat that often trespassed in her mind. He loved her, that was something she had always known. It wasn't until seventh year that she finally admitted that she loved him too.

They were married soon after graduation, and dressed in white, she walked down the aisle. She was more gorgeous than she had ever been, probably due to the fact that she had never been happier than she was in that moment.

Then came a moment that gave her even more joy. When her son was born she looked upon him and saw a divine combination of herself and James. He was perfect. Everything, for once, was perfect.

But, there was a war going on, and nothing could stay perfect. Despite the pain and sorrow, she continued to fight, knowing she had a child to protect now. She wanted to make a better world for him. This was the peak of her life. She blossomed like never before, but like all good things, her happiness began to wilt.

She knew right from the day that they went into hiding that something would go wrong, that it might be the end. As the days grew by, her petals fell one by one, until that dreaded night.

He was coming, there was nothing she or James could do. She knew it would be the end, but she also knew that she needed to protect her son. Whatever happened, Harry needed to be safe.

When her husband was killed, she could feel it. It was like a part of her was ripped into shreds, and she knew the other parts would follow suite.

He entered the room and she stood her guard, blocking her child from harms way, and staring straight into the face of the monster who had killed her love, and who was about to kill her as well.

The light struck her chest and everything was gone. Everything was still.

As the last petal fell and the life left her body, she thought of her son and somehow knew that he would make it through. He would be safe.
