Jotaro was walking around the unpopular parts of Morioh. He had decided to stay for a little while longer in the small town before ending his vacation from his job. The vacation of which was spent mostly hunting down the now deceased serial killer, Yoshikage Kira. As he unconsciously glanced down the alleys he began to feel uneasy as if being watched.
Indeed he was being watched but not by anyone he could see. If anyone could have seen they would see the faint image of a man floating as he followed Jotaro around the blocks. The look on the man's face as an invisible breeze played with his yellow and pink headband was one of fondness. This was the spirit of Caesar Zeppeli who in haunting the descendents of Joseph Joestar protected them.
Jotaro stopped his walk beside a telephone pole. Caesar followed his gaze down a dirty alley where a cat hissed and scattered. His faded green eyes widened in surprise at the person approaching them from the opposite side. The man wore a bowler hat and an elaborate suit his facial features resembling the serial killer Caesar had watched Jotaro and his uncle Josuke battle against. Instinctively he floated closer to Jotaro's side glaring down the man whom he noticed was not visibly reacting to either of them.
As the man moved steadily closer to them Jotaro retained his expression causing Caesar to question whether Jotaro was seeing this man or not. Could it be possible that he was a ghost like himself?
At the same time Jotaro began to feel more and more uneasy. It was as if something unseen was approaching him from down the alley, and if it got too close, it could create a bad situation for him to be in. He thought about continuing to walk but for some reason his feet remained rooted to the spot. Jotaro was frozen by a feeling closely related to fear.
"Can you see me?" Asked the spirit. He had finally come to a stop a few feet away from where Caesar and Jotaro were standing by the telephone pole.
"I can, he cannot," responded Caesar eyeing the man down suspiciously. The spirit cocked his head inquisitively to the side touching his face with a gloved finger. Behind his slightly transparent gaze Caesar could tell he was thinking something over.
"Do you know who I am?" Inquired the spirit. Caesar was caught off guard slightly. If this man was Kira he would have attempted to attack already after recognizing Jotaro.
"What is your name?"
"Yoshikage Kira."
No doubt about it, this was the man that Caesar had watched Jotaro and the others hunting for and defeating. But for some reason he was a ghost like himself lacking his memory. Caesar relaxed a bit allowing the shadow of a smile to creep into his face.
"I don't know you." When his question was answered the ghost of Kira looked confused for a few moments before waving his hand as if shooing a thought away. The spirit disappeared through a wall and Caesar was left alone with Jotaro the atmosphere's tension dissolving.
At sensing the change in atmosphere Jotaro heaved a sigh and turned continuing his walk. He could have sworn for a moment as he was staring down the creepy alley he saw Caesar. Figuring his nerves must be shot due to the serial killer crusade Jotaro dismissed the whole episode.
