The waning moonlight caught the crimson of her dress, highlighting the way the satin rippled. His face was thrown into darkness, an angelic quality to his aristocratic features. Her cerulean eyes twinkled, a tinkling laugh escaping her lips. He smiled at her caprice, his own grey orbs displaying more mirth than his deep voice ever could. And so they twirled the night away, laughing and swaying to lively music, for though they were lovers, they were companions first.
