My breath caught in my lips. Strong currents flowed through my body, and all I could think was 'why?' Why had he done such a thing? The cold arms of my captor loosened, and the man fell to the ground. My legs felt like jelly.

The current swept through my body on and on; the cold and menacing look from the man I was in love with shocked me and left me mortified. How had I loved such a thing? One eye was donning the symbol of his clan, the other hard and cold, black, which I used to find appealing….but now it wasn't. They were as hard as onyx, the color they represented. Not a single emotion was shown from the man.

Time had seemed to slow around me, and the light in front of me was subsiding, leaving a dark shadow on the Uchiha's face. Grinning, he whispered to himself, something I didn't quite catch, as I was falling to the wet ground, my face splashing in a puddle, the dark water pooling around me, cooling the side of my face. Tears fell from my eyes, leaving dots of pure liquid in the dark water. They looked like clouds.

Gazing up, I saw the sky, dark and evil. Thunder rolled and boomed, alive and screaming. The darkness was now here, and with the occasional flash of Earth's flashlight, I watched my love walk into the darkness, carrying my heart with it.

Slowly, I closed my eyes and let the rain fall down on me, letting myself be swallowed into the belly of the beast.

Tobi watched as the girl died. Her frayed hair stuck up from all sides, and he lips were barely parted into the silent plea for the boy whom stood motionless in the trees, sheltered from the rain. Tobi, sighing, got up and fled, but took one last look at the girl. It was obvious that she had been mortally injured by the attack, but he knew the one true reason the girl had died so quickly. Even with a wound like that, her stomach would have lasted her weeks just being punctured. She had died of heartbreak.
