Play: Cop and Robbers
"Mrs Witwicky?"
Judy stares back at the officers on her door step, and for a moment or two she recalls meeting these two somewhere before, but can't quite place her finger on where. So instead, she smiles in a charming manner and tilts her head. "Can I help you, officers?" She asks, and liquor breath brushes against the taller officer's face.
He snarls silently and brushes a purple strand of hair from his face.
"Yes, ma'am. I'm officer Cade, this is officer Zy. We're here to inquire about your son Samuel.." Judy's eyes widen for a moment and she stares at their hats, they're both on. Cade smiles in a charming manner and Judy gulps. "Could we possibly come in?"
Shakily, without thinking, Judy pulls the door open wider and the two officers step inside and into the hallway. "Perhaps you should sit down for this ma'am," Zy states and Judy's fingers begin to shake as she leads them into the living room and watches them sit down.
"Can I get you anything?" She asks in a hushed, shaking voice.
Cade shakes his head, smile on his lips and Zy just shakes his head and folds his arms. "R-Right," Judy mutters and finally sits down, staring at the two officers. Her hands find her skirt and she pulls on it like a child in trouble.
"So what's he done?" She asks, "please tell me he's done something.."
Cade's smile drops and for a while a flash of humour flickers across scarlet eyes. "No ma'am. Though.. I.. am sorry to say your son was found dead," Cade purrs the word and looks toward Zy; the smaller officer smiles sympathetically at the trembling woman. "We are deeply sorry for your loss, Mrs Witwicky.."
Judy shakes her head, hands to her lips and her eyes watering. "What about Ron?" She whispers, more to herself than the officers. "Oh God, what about his car? Bu-"
"Ma'am?" Cade's voice interrupts and Judy looks up from her personal rambles, she stands suddenly and pushes the two officers, with haste, from her house; crying, trembling and praying to God that her baby is okay. That it's just a personal matter and those big aliens are keeping him safe.
The door slams shut after many apologies from Judy; Cade turns to Zy with a smirk. Zy looks back and shakes his head, pulling his hat off and running his fingers through his hair. "You think she bought it?" The young man asks and Cade laughs softly.
"Of course, Frenzy," he mutters, stepping toward his car and running his fingertips over the bonnet. He purrs to himself and steps into the back. Frenzy gets into the front and turns back to the other with a sigh as the older man removes his hat.
"They'll figure it out, Barricade," he warns, and Barricade smiles as he removes the blanket from the boy. "They won't let you get away with it. His guardian-"
"Isn't here," Barricade snaps, running a pale hand against Sam's frozen cheek. "Wake up, Samuel James Witwicky," he purrs, nudging his nose into Sam's neck as the engines of his alt form rumble, and they take off. "It's time to play.."
Sam stirs and Barricade bites at his neck. "Lets play my favourite human game," the mock officer purrs. "But in this case, I guess I'll just pretend to have caught you and get to the fun part."
Sam screams.
