A one-shot tragedy between female Ichigo and Aizen.

I looked at Ichigo who looked at me with the same eyes she deceived me with.

And despite having my zanpakuto in her guts in the sky above her home and her bloody hands holding onto it as if it was her life on the line, she smiled at me.

And despite having blood spurt out of her mouth, she tried to say something to me with all her might.

Why?

"A-Aizen," she said to me as her smile broke and a tears streamed out. "D-Did I hurt you t-that much?" she asked me.

I simply nodded, keeping my cool and hammering my emotions from me. It felt wrong to kill her, my former lover, but she betrayed me. Those who betray me cannot be left alive.

She chuckled. "What?" I asked irritated. "No, I'm only getting rid of-"

"I guess I did," she said with another smile. She tightened her grip on my zanpakuto and pulled herself closer to the hilt. My eyes narrowed.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

She didn't reply but continued until I was in the arms reach. It didn't matter. She was in her human form and there wasn't any way to get herself out of that situation.

She placed her head on my chest, causing my heart to skip a beat. She's still trying to-

She muttered something.

"What?" I asked. I don't know why I did.

She muttered the same words again but it was still too soft for me to hear.

"... I won't be able to listen to your curses if you don't speak up," I said.

"I'm sorry," she muttered just loud enough for me to hear it.

My heart skipped another beat. "Your acting skills have rose," I said.

"I had to say that," she said before another cough of blood interrupted her. "I had to," she said looked up. There were tears on her face.

"And I'm suppose to believe that?"

"I h-had your child," she said.

My heart sank.

"S-She's in my house in my room..." she sobbed. "P-Please," she implored of him.

I began trembling. I closed my eyes for a second and reached out to find the reiatsu in the surrounding environment. And just like she said, there was a new born reiatsu.

I opened my eyes and looked at her. She saw what was in my eyes. "I-I'm sorry," she cried. "I-I -I ... I'm..."

She didn't get to finish that last sentence.

She died.

I stood there.

My own tears were escaping my eyes.

She did what she had to do to keep her baby safe. Keep MY baby safe.

And I killed her for it.

I should've asked first.

I should have.
