A/N: I shouldn't write for Rose/Ten

Time Lord's don't fall in love.

It's simple really. At least it should be, but The Doctor isn't sure if that rule applies to me if he's the last of them. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't

If it does, he broke it. If it doesn't, well, then he didn't break any rules.

But that's beside the point. The point is, he did fall in love, with one Rose Tyler. The Doctor doesn't know what it is about her. The way she smiles, the way she talks, the way she makes everything better with her laugh. She's different from all his other companions; different to all the other humans he's ever met.

And it's not just Bad Wolf.

Because when he left her there on Bad Wolf Bay, he'd never felt more strange. He felt like he was missing something, like one of his two hearts had been ripped out. The Doctor missed Rose Tyler more than he had ever missed anyone else.

And vice-versa.
