"Um, Grissom can we stop at the gas station real quick?" Sara asked as she squirmed in her seat.

"Sara, didn't your mother ever tell you to 'go' before you go?" Grissom ask has he eased the car into a parking slot.

Sara took off like a rocket down and aisle. "Hurry up, we have a crime scene to get to!" Grissom yelled after her. Deciding that he was thirsty, he walked slowly over the back coolers to find something to quench his thirst. Deciding that he didn't need any pop or beer he settle on water. There were several brands to choose from and several sizes and styles of bottles. Closing his eyes he reached in and grabbed two, just in case Sara would like one as well. Slowly walking toward the register, he looked around. No sign of Sara, she must still be using the restroom.

Grissom placed the water bottles on the counter and the clerk smiled as she rang up the water. "Your total comes to nine dollars and fifty-seven cents sir."

Grissom looked up from his wallet. "Excuse me? Um I know that water is expensive and all, but I didn't know it was that expensive!"

"Well sir, the two waters plus the lady's necessities, and tax." The clerk smiled again.

"Um... 'lady's necessities?" Grissom's eyebrow furrowed in confusion.

"Yes sir, your wife grabbed some necessities before she used the restroom." The clerk answered.

"What necessities?" Grissom asked leaning in, his curiosity growing.

"Ya know, necessities." The girl replied hoping that he would now get it.

"I'm sorry Miss, but right now 'necessities' is about as clear as mud." Grissom's eyebrows furrowed and his head slightly tilted to the side.

"Feminine hygiene products...you know...tampons..." The girl said, a blush on her cheeks. "I assumed you would pay for your wife."

Grissom off set his jaw and dug for the ten-dollar bill in his wallet. He grabbed the water bottles and went back to the car. A smile on his face.

A few moments later Sara emerged and headed straight for the casher. "Um, could I pay for these, sorry I didn't pay before I used it, but you know how it is."

"Don't worry about, besides your husband paid for them already." The cashier said.

"My...husband?" Sara questioned. "The guy who came in behind you, he paid for them already, after I explained to him what necessities where." The girl chuckled.

Sara's face paled. She gave the girl an evil eye as she head back toward the car. Getting in the passenger seat, Sara couldn't look at Grissom. "Um...Griss, sorry about that...how much do I owe you?" Sara asked in a whisper.

"Don't worry about. Anything for my wife." He said giving her a wink.

Sara blushed intently. She couldn't believe that Grissom was playing along with the clerk's mistakes, and the fact that her boss had just bought her tampons. She gave him a smile and they were off to the next crime scene.
