Sandy's sand signing

Prelude

Baby Tooth entered the room of a certain blonde haired little girl. The tooth was under Sophia Bennet's pillow had not been due to fall for another two days. Baby squeezed herself under the pillow, left a quarter, and grabbed the tooth.

But as she was preparing to leave, a hand wrapped around her. She squeaked in surprise as she was turned around to face an anxious Sophie.

"I'm so sorry, little one," Sophie whispered. "But this was the only way I could think of of to get a message to to the Guardians." Baby Tooth perked up.

"It's short," Sophie said. "Pitch is back and he has Jamie. Got that?" Baby nobs vigorously. Sophie carried her to the window and watched her fly away. Neither saw the Nightmare in the shadow of the tree in the yard. Once the bedroom window was closed, Pitch stepped out to stand by the creature of black sand.

"Fly away with your message, Baby Tooth," Pitch cooed "for i have a surprise waiting for our frozen friend."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Baby Tooth handed the tooth she had to another of her sisters and flew to their mother, Toothania. She was speaking to Bunnymund.
{Mother,} Baby Tooth chirped. Tooth looked at her.
"Oh, Baby, you're back," Tooth said.
"Hello, Baby," Bunny greeted.
{Bunny,} Baby returned before turning back to Tooth. {Sophie pulled her tooth for a reason. She needed to get a message to the Guardians. Pitch is back and has Jamie.}
"We have to tell the others, now," Bunny said and opened a tunnel. Tooth followed right behind the Pooka.
Bunny's tunnel opened up right in the middle of North's workshop. North crossed his arms and was ready to give Bunny a telling off, until he saw the look on the other two Guardians faces. At that moment Sandy and Jack flew through the open window.
"All Sandy would tell me was that it was important that I come with him," Jack said.
I saw a small herd of Pitch's Nightmares roaming Burgress, Sandy said with his sand.
"So pitch is back?" Jack demanded.
"I'm afraid that is exactly what it means," North rumbled in his Russian accent.
"That's only the half of it, mate," Bunny said in his quick, Australian voice.
"Baby Tooth returned to the palace with Sophie Bennet's tooth, and a message," Tooth said. "Pitch has Jamie."
"This not good," North replied. "We must save Jamie. To the sleigh!"
Jack was already out he open window to fly to Burgress.
"Jack, my portals are quicker!" North called.
"By the time you get to one of your portals, I'll already be in Burgress!" Jack hollered back and was gone.
North grumbled something that sounded alot like 'headstrong' as he lead the others to the stable. The reindeer were already hitched and the sleigh ready. The big four jumped in. The ice tunnel and the fast ride still scared Bunny, but he no longer dug scratches into the ancient wood.
Off the ramp and into the air. North shook a globe and threw it. a spiral of color marked where the portal opened. On the other side they were greeted by thousands upon thousands of Nightmares, more then last time. And Jack Frost was in the worst of it.
"Deja vu, mates," Bunny murmured, just as Pitch released an arrow. Jack had turned at just the right time to receive the arrow to the gut.
"JACK!" the other's screamed. Tooth and Sandy tried to reach Jack, but they were all distracted by Nightmares.
Jack was still glaring at Pitch as the Nightmare sand forced its way into his body.
"I asked you once what goes better together then cold and dark," Pitch drawled. "Well now we'll be together forever!"
Pitch and his Nightmares left as dawn broke. North landed the sleigh on what they knew as 'Jack's Lake'. On the shore, back to them, was a figure. Bunny hopped out of the sleigh and made his way to the human, who stood and turned to reveal Jamie. In his hands were the broken pieces of Jack's staff.
"Pitch has Jack now," Jamie whimpered.
