Who is Dominic Bell? Olivia had asked her father.
"Dominic Bell," Her father said the name with such venom and distaste, "is the only man your mother ever loved."

Olivia felt he was more than that. But who exactly. Dominic had told her that she knew him.

Huck had captured Dominic and tied him up in Olivia's office.

When Dominic won't talk, Rowan forces him to call Maya and play a game of Russian roulette. But Maya doesn't even flinch when she begins to listen in on the Russian roulette game. Instead she bids goodbye to Dominic and hangs up the phone.

But Rowan doesn't stop the Russian roulette game there. Forcing Olivia out of the room, Rowan begins to pull the trigger on the gun until it finally goes of.

But Rowan Bishop did not shoot him in the head. He did not want Dominic to die so mercilessly. After all he had ruined his families life.

He had always expected. That Maya was having an affair with him, that she had been sleeping with Dominic, even before and during the time he and Maya met. It was Dominic that introduced him to Maya.

It was Dominic that had her marry Rowan. Just to keep up appearances, in order to get information.

His friend had betrayed him. Took his wife from him, his trust.

He had approached Dominic about it once about it. It was Olivia's 6th birthday party. He had nerve to show his face there. Angry, he had stormed over to where Dominic stood, over by the table with drinks.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"Well, I am your friend, just dropping by, hopping to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday. That's what I'm doing here."

"You are no friend of mine. And you're not going anywhere near my daughter. "

" Maya made that pretty clear with me as well. Turns out, my invitation got lost in the mail, so Maya invited me, as long as I don't get to close. How is Maya by the way."

"You've been sleeping with my wife, haven't you?"

At that Dominic chuckled.

"You better wipe that damn smirk off your face and answer my question."

"I'm not here to cause any trouble Eli."

It had crossed Rowan's mind, many times that Olivia might be Dominic's.

Rowan lowered the gun, firing the shot into Dominic's abdomen. It would take a while for him to bleed out.

"Olivia will hate you for this."

"She doesn't even know you. She will NEVER know."

Dominic's death, stirs up some memories for Olivia. In a phone call with Jake, Olivia reveals that she remembers, that one day at the park, with her mother. she saw this man with her mother, talking, laughing, holding hands. She was only five years old, she didn't think anything of it. She understands now, that that man was Dominic.

"She loved him my whole life," she tells Jake, disturbed that Maya could just let him die. "Maybe she didn't really love him at all. Maybe she couldn't. She is a sick person."

She dreamed that night. A memory. Her five year old self approached her mother and man sitting on the bench. Maya introduced him as her friend.

"Well, aren't you beautiful." The man smiled at her. Shyly, Olivia smiled back,(at the same time trying not to laugh, the man talked funny) then ran off to continue playing.

"Who is Dominic Bell? She asked her father a second time while he was in the hospital.

"Dominic Bell is your real father."

3 am, she called Jake again.

" I didn't know if he knew I was there, until he said, "aren't you beautiful." All his life he never got to hold his daughter, Instead I held him, as he was dying. He looked like he was at peace. He was always there, watching me grow up. At graduation, I remember a man, I couldn't get a good look at him, he was standing in the shadows, leaning against the wall. He was crying.

She had asked him if he was alright.

When he looked at her, his breath seemed to catch in his throat. Then he gathered his composure rather quickly. "Yes, quite alright. My daughter just graduated. I wish I could tell her how proud I am of her."
"Why not tell her yourself?"
"I would but I can't. I'm not allowed to see her."
"Is this a divorce thing or something?"
"Yeah, something like that."
"Well I'm sure she knows." But he was already gone.

"I'm here to Identity a John Doe." Olivia told the coroner.

"We got quite a lot of those." He stared walking through the rows of staked bodies. "Can you notify your relationship with the deceased?"

"My father."

Naturally he went over the African American males whose bodies were yet to be identified.

'He was Caucasian." Olivia told him, as the coroner started taking the sheet of one of the bodies. He covered it back up, looking at Olivia curiously.

"It would be more recent. Someone they just brought in. The body they found in the water."

"The John Doe on the news?" He asked her.

Olivia nodded.

"Are you sure, it's not recommended until the bodies been sent to a funeral home..."

"I want to see him."

The coroner walked back to the middle of the room. Olivia had been standing only inches from Dominc's body only minutes before.

"I'll give you some time while I grab the paper work."

Olivia just nodded. She closed the collar of her coat, bundling it closer to her. She was shivering, not because of the room's temperature.

He had been used, manipulated,
He had truly loved her mother. That was his only mistake.
