So, I'm going to be starting this thing where I write about the Dazzlings' exploits/adventures/misadventures between Equestria and the human world. Just simple little one-shots for each adventure or whatever. And it is canon to my stories After the Battle and Corruption and Desperation, and takes place after them, but don't worry, it doesn't/won't contain any spoilers. So, here's the first one, requested by a person on DeviantArt.

Two girls were sitting on the couch at Applejack's house. One of them, a girl with purple and teal hair, was reading a book. The other one, a girl with blue hair, was watching the television. They were, you guessed it, Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk.

They were visiting the human world yet again. But at the moment, they were bored out of their minds because Applejack was busy with her farm work, and Sunset was out. The sirens had discovered that the red and yellow haired girl was indeed still living with Applejack, but she had actually started working and trying to earn a living. Aria didn't want to admit it, but she was actually happy for her.

Suddenly, Aria heard the TV turn off, but she didn't look up from her book. A few seconds of silence passed. Aria didn't know how, but she could tell that Sonata was giving her the look. She tried to ignore the feeling of Sonata's puppy dog eyes that were begging her to look at them, but after a minute, Aria's eye began to twitch in annoyance, and she finally gave in.

With an exasperated sigh, Aria put her book down and slowly shifted her gaze to look at the girl next to her.

"What do you want, Sonata?" She asked. Sonata leaned against her.

"Ari, I'm bored." Aria stared at Sonata for a moment, clearly unamused, before raising her book again and continuing to read. Just ignore her. Maybe she'll go away. Aria thought as if she were talking about a pest. She'd had a rather busy day, and she wanted to unwind. Couldn't the ditzy siren respect that? It wasn't her job to keep Sonata entertained. Even if she was her girlfriend. So, she decided to just ignore her for now.

The only thing was…Sonata didn't like to be ignored.

The blue-haired sired nudged Aria with her arm, trying to get her attention. Aria sighed and kept reading. Sonata began nudging her a bit harder. No response. Seeing as this tactic wasn't working, Sonata tried something else.

Aria was about to flip the page of her book when, suddenly, Sonata stopped leaning on her. Finally. The purple-haired siren thought, thinking that Sonata had decided to leave her alone. Then, out of nowhere, her book was pushed from her lap, and was replaced with a rather playful-looking Sonata. The book fell to the floor, and Sonata wormed her way onto Aria's lap, similar to how an attention-seeking cat would when it's owner is focused on something other than it. Aria looked down at Sonata with a 'seriously?' look. The blue-haired girl smiled sheepishly as her top half rested on the moody siren's lap. She hesitated for a moment before, with a defeated sigh, Aria flashed a half-smile and put a hand to Sonata's head, stroking her hair slightly. Sonata smiled brightly at this, glad that the other siren hadn't decided to throw her across the room instead.

"Okay, Sonata..." Aria finally said. "...if I find something to entertain you, will you leave me alone?" She asked. Sonata nodded. "Okay, then. What do you wanna do?" The blue-haired siren thought for a moment before shrugging. Aria rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's real helpful, Sonata." Then, suddenly, the hyperactive girl gasped.

"I know what we should do!"

"We?"

"We could go on a...what do those humans and ponies call it?" She paused, thinking for a second before remembering. "Oh, yeah! We could go on a date!" Aria blinked.

"Date? As in...?"

"Oh, you know...that thingie that couples do." Aria slightly blushed at this, as she was still kinda new to this whole 'couple' thing. "They, like, go out to eat or something, and just enjoy being with each other." She said. By the sound of it, it sounded kind of...'cutesie.' She didn't exactly enjoy that kind of thing. And even if she did, it'd destroy what little reputation she had left. She looked at Sonata, who was staring at her with an expectant look, like she was waiting for an answer.

"I don't know..." Aria said unsurely. Sonata then sat up and wrapped her arms around the moody siren with a mix of affection and pleading.

"Aww, come on, Ari! I've always wanted to do couple things, but you don't like to do any of them!"

"Well, sorry I'm not 'gushy' or 'lovey-dovey.' I've got a tough reputation to uphold! Well...what's left of it." She said. Sonata felt kind of offended by this. She let go of Aria and pulled her arms close to her chest, the hurt evident in her expression.

"Wait, s-so..." She paused before looking down and continuing. "...you care more about your reputation...than me?" She looked up at Aria again hopefully, but the purple-haired siren remained silent, thinking of what to say. But Sonata didn't give her a chance to speak before she sighed and turned away from Aria, bringing her legs onto the couch and pulled them up to her chest. She hugged her knees and buried her face in them. Aria immediately felt awful. Sonata was always so happy and cheerful, that it was practically a sin to make her sad. Especially to the brink of tears, which she was obviously at. Aria didn't know she was so sensitive, even though she'd known her for so long. The purple-haired siren took a hand and gently placed it on Sonata's shoulder. The girl still didn't look up.

"Sonata..." She said softly. Sonata looked up slightly with a huff, giving Aria a sort of hurt/slightly angry glare. "...I didn't mean it like that." Sonata looked away from her, and stared at the ground. Aria then smiled and rolled her eyes with a sigh. "Okay, okay... if it'll make you happy...we can go on a date." She said. Faster than humanly possible, Sonata's head shot up, and she turned it to look at Aria.

"For realzies?" She asked. Aria nodded with a slight chuckle.

"Yes, for realzies." Then, before she could react, Sonata threw her arms around her fellow siren again, and nuzzled her face into the crook of her neck.

"Oh, thank you, Ari! I promise you won't regret it!" Aria rolled her eyes.

"Can't wait..." She said with a smirk.

Hope you enjoyed it! Second part will be out soon.
