I look out to the ocean, feel its waves lap against my feet, feel the sand wet beneath my feet trying to pull me under. I wish to welcome it, to let the ocean consume my body and soul, to take me from the world I have hurt.
My brother has said that I have hurt none and it is not my fault...
...He just does not understand that it is...
I stretch out my arms to the wind as it picks up. It tries to push me away from the ocean, but the sandbar where I stand keeps me firmly rooted.
The tide is coming in...
Water is higher upon my legs. When I first stood here, it was only at my ankles, now it's almost at my hips. My clothing sticks to me. The wind whips through my short and slightly spiked blue hair. I am organic now, more vulnerable to the elements, thanks to the red diamond shaped jewel upon my forehead.
Wet.
Cold.
I do not care.
I hear my name being called. I do not answer. I look to the ocean, almost begging it to swallow me whole. I can not take it anymore...
I hear his voice again, my brother. He is shouting something to me. I do not know what he is saying. A wave is coming. Will this wave be the end of me?
I close my eyes as the roar of the wave draws nearer...

Rock started running towards the ocean, after seeing wave after wave loom over then crash upon the one that thought he was only her brother. He was more than that. He, Mega Man, was half of what made her up...which meant that he was her father of sorts.
"Alternative!" he shouted to her, hoping and praying with all his might that she would hear him above the crashing of the waves. It tore at his heart that she was trying this again.
She promised him that she would not.
Rock shouted out to her once more, deciding to tell her the truth of what he was to her, not what she had been told.
He knew that she could not hear him, though that did not stop him from trying. The blue hero moved faster towards the ocean as a near house sized wave loomed over his sister, no, his daughter.
Rock leapt forward as he approached where the blue haired girl stood. He took a breath of air before tackling Alternative to below the waterline. The blue bomber heard her gasp before going under, but felt her limp in his arms as the wave crashed overhead. The reploid pressed his lips to his organic daughter and breathed into her mouth, making sure that she had air until the monstrous wave moved overhead.
The waves as they drew back to their home attempted to pull both of them into the deeper part of the ocean, far from the beach.
Fighting the undertow, Rock swam with Alternative back to shore, holding her protectively against him to make sure that she would not slip away.
When both were on the shore moments later, Rock looked down at his daughter, noting that she was unconscious but breathing. With a soft sigh of relief, the blue armored hero lifted her up and held her close to him as he walked back to Rush.
He would talk to her when they arrived home.
