Chapter One, Watching
- Aaron. -
I watched as she walked along the edge of the forest. Her long hair flew past her shoulders; her big brown eyes wandered across the various plant-life and animal-life that surrounded her figure. She jutted out her small, pale hand to touch the leaves of the much taller trees. With a smile plastered on her beautiful heart-shaped face, she danced along the side of the woods, half on my lawn, half in the forest. She looked absolutely stunning.
My Alexa. . .
Her pale, alabaster skin glowed in the sunlight, casting shadows on the dew-covered grass. The sun was low in the sky; the pink, purple and orange colors made the morning as pretty as a postcard. Not as pretty as Alexa; not even close.
The black band shirt she wore hugged her chest and torso tightly, so I could see her chest rise and fall as she breathed in the morning air. Her pink, plumpy lips were pulled into a small smile as a squirrel scurried past her converse. I smiled to myself as she sat down on a moss-covered rock and pulled out her sketching pad; began drawing a nearby dead tree, just like everyday. After a half an hour, she gathered her things, got up, and walked down the messy, rocky-covered path and back to her house she shared with her best friend, Justin. I despised the goth-poser. Ever since I saw the little twit, I knew he had a crush on my Alexa. Mine. A deep growl arose from my chest, and I clenched the window sill, making the hard wood crack.
I turned around quickly and headed out into the long, marble floored hallway. Jemare, the old butler that worked here in the Crawson manor, was carrying an empty silver tray into the kitchen.
"Goodmorning, Mr. Crawson. I presume Alexa was out, am I right?" His wrinkle-filled face pulled into a smirk, and I thought I could feel a blush creeping up my cheeks and onto my pale, vampire skin. Of course he couldn't see it, though. I nodded and kept walking, faster than a normal human, but slower for a normal vampire.
The blood that I was drinking felt like a relief. I hadn't had any since the night before, and I was famished to the end of my day.
Alexa made her way into my mind, and I felt a pull in my chest, from my unbeating heart. Her beautiful figure, she had the curse of curves. Her medium-sized breasts were always shaking as she laughed with Justin, and his friend, Marsee. Even though the three were bound as friends, I was sure I could break them up. I smiled as a picture of her grinning up at me came in to my mind, and I then finished the cup of blood quickly, and headed up to my room, (one of many) to take a nap before I wandered around in the forest that evening.
