From Me, To You

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack frost nipping at your nose...

Spenelli looked deep into the vibrant, flickering fire. She closed her eyes, and smiled. She loved Christmas time.

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Spenelli was yanked out of her thoughts, when she heard a few knocks come from her front door. She arose off of the comfortable red satin chair she had been seated in, and curiously walked to the door.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

She opened the door slowly, to find her friend T.J. Detweiler at the door. He smiled shyly, taking off his hat. "May I come in?" he asked politely.

Spenelli was a little taken back by his politeness, but smiled and nodded. "So what brings you here, Teej?" Spenelli asked casually, closing the door behind him, and leading him to her family room where the fire flickered and vibrant colours danced around the room.

They know that Santa's on his way
He's bringing lots of toys and goodies
On his sleigh

"Well," T.J. started. "I just wanted to give you this," he said with a hesitant expression, as he passed a wrapped parcel to Spenelli.

And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly...

Spenelli was speechless. She looked at the gift, and then at T.J. "Open it," T.J. urged, and she slowly ripped off some of the gift paper, to uncover two tickets to the upcoming show of WrestleWorld 500.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said many times,
Many ways...

"Wow! Teej, this is great! Thank you so much!" Spenelli said with a huge grin, as she beamed down at the two tickets.

"Who are you going to take?" T.J. asked curiously.

"Only the best friend ever," Spenelli smiled, before hugging T.J. "You."

Merry Christmas to you.

Author's Note: I know most people believe in Vince/Spenelli, or Mikey/ Spenelli, but I am one of the proud few who believe in Spenelli/T.J. This was my first attempt at a Recess T.J./ Spenelli songfic, let alone a story under the category of 'Recess.' It gets you in the mood for Christmas, eh? Thanks for reading, and please review!
