Prologue

-The Climb-

An official entry to ZoraChannyTwilight4ever's contest.

Full Summary/Plot:

The story begins when Chad, on his middle 60's writes about his relationship with his wife, Sonny Munroe. How they met, the struggles they faced, everything about them. What they don't know, that it is something more than that.

Life's a climb.

I learned that years ago. In every person's life there will always be struggling. Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win. And sometimes the outcome of it isn't always on how you expected it. The outcomes; we may think, is for the worst, but we come surprised, that in the end, it will be always be for the better. Sometimes, what we get in the end is even better than we hoped for in the start. And that's the nice part on not expecting.

In life, we do not always get what we want. We have hard battles, trials, and pain. But do you ever wonder how fortunate you still are? Everyday, there is a single person in this world that gets sick, that dies. Some battle for cancer, some leukemia, but there you are, perfectly fine and well, but you still are, cursing out at God, getting mad at him for not getting you what you want. The worst part is that; it isn't that important, at all.

I've also come to learn that, people change. Some for the better, while some for the worst. And that in life, there will always be a person that will inspire you to pursue your dreams, some will treat you badly, while, some will take advantage of you, but what you don't realize is that, sometimes, you are that person, too. As human as we are, we commit mistakes. Our roadtrip of life will sometimes have rocky mountains or hills to pass through. The others will choose to climb it, while the others will choose to use the shortcut and pass it over around, like it's nothing.

The reason why I am writing this is that when I grow old and die, some people might read this again and think, "Miracles can happen." I want them to believe in it, because it was the only thing I held on to. A miracle... And Sonny.

Then, I guess, I should tell you our story. Let's turn the page, shall we?

LMAOOO. K, this was not how I intended it to be, but whatever. :P
