Everyone has a hero when they are growing up... Mine just so happened to be
Vash the Stampede... I was never like the other kids; my idol was a
destructive cowboy that lived almost 200 years ago... I always loved to hear
stories about the infamous Vash.
The sad, sandy, arid, and almost uninhabitable planet is now over populated and all life balances with one man, the man with all the power...
This man is evil and greedy. I do not know why I ever believed he was kind... but that was before... before he stole my life... My caretaker, my father figure, his name was Michael. The very brother of the world's leader. I almost married his brother. I hadn't a choice. Don't get me wrong; I hate the man... I could've killed him when I had the chance, but I didn't. I could have been the wealthiest person in the universe but I chose not to.
"Why wouldn't I?" you ask. I loved Michael dearly, with all my heart. He was the most warm and caring person I have met. He's dead now. All because of that dirtbag, he called brother. His brother wanted me. But why? I was still a child and he wanted my hand in marriage. There had to be some reason... There was... Let me tell you the story in logical order... From the beginning.
(If you do not want to read the first chapter, because there is no live Vash or anything, YET, you may skip it, it is just explaining my past. And thanks in advanced if you'll stick with it for 10 or so pages, you'll better understand my past. The 2nd chapter is where all kinds of trigun- ish stuff begins. But a word to the wise- it will make so much more sense if you just goddamn read a few pages, if it means more comprehension. )
