~Nostalgic Ramen~
"Kukai, bring me to go get some ramen? I just finished recording my new song," Utau said into her purple phone.
"Okay. Pick you up from the studio?" he asked. Ever since Utau and Kukai had been dating, the Guardians also had been too. Utau was now 19 and Kukai 18, but did age matter in love?
"Yeah. See ya!" Utau replied, enthusiastic about eating ramen with Kukai again, especially since they hadn't done so in a long time.
"Bye," Kukai hung up, got into his car, and drove to the studio where Utau was at.
Utau snapped her phone, got her jacket and strutted out of the recording studio, where other artistes just stared. Utau was now the most famous singer in the whole of Japan, and that only meant one thing: Lots of fans.
Everywhere she went, there would be people squealing and asking for her autographs; there would be guys following her home. Kukai would have to help her beat them up. All she wanted was a quiet life, one with Kukai by her side, without caring about the fans nor the paparazzi.
The car honked, and snapped Utau out of her reverie. Kukai was holding the steering wheel, grinning and winking at her.
"Hey Kukai," she greeted him, as she stepped into her car.
"Hey Utau!" he answered.
"The usual place, then," she said, in the passenger seat.
Kukai still hadn't changed from when they fell in love. He was still the big brotherly figure of the Guardians, the happy-go-lucky sports fanatic who could play just about anything. He was the person of her dreams.
"We're here!"
Utau looked up at the ramen shop. It was where Kukai and her had built up their memories, their wonderful memories, even before Kukai confessed. She smiled and got out of the car, held Kukai's hand as they stepped into the ramen shop together.
"I miss this place," Utau said, feeling nostalgia.
"Me too," Kukai said, and bent down to kiss her forehead.
"Utau-san! Kukai-san!" the shopkeeper greeted them. "Why have you not been coming?"
"We were busy," Utau smiled angelically.
"The usual," Kukai announced.
While the shopkeeper was preparing the food, they were preparing for a fight.
"Ready, Kukai?" Utau challenged, a smirk curving up her lips.
"Anytime!" Kukai shouted, just as the bowls of ramen came.
"Ready, set, go!" the shopkeeper said, before going to attend to other customers.
They slurped up the noodles quickly, and the shopkeeper soon returned to give them more. And more.
"I won!" Utau shouted in triumph, beating Kukai for the 52nd time.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Kukai said. He wasn't used to losing. "I don't feel good…My stomach hurts!"
Utau kissed him, deeply. "Feeling better now, Kukai?"
"Yeah," he gave his signature grin and they kissed again.
A short one-shot on Kutau. :) They're so cute! They're my 2nd favourite couple after Rimahiko. And also because they're the eldest couple. So I wanted to do a one-shot on them.
R&R!
