author's note: this drabble here is in regards to stratholme (the main gate) and Timmy.
summary: you can paint over the shadows and the ghouls with the stories your mother told you/stratholme and Timmy
- this broken place is the place of your ancestors – masons, warriors – even now you bear the iron eyes and the clipped brogue of Stratholme; in the stories your mother told (once safe in the walls of another city, and with no more bread with your soup), even now you can still see the flowerboxes and the freshly painted door of the cobblers instead of the dim glow of the still burning fires and the shadows of the scourge and their ghosts.
(you are doing this for your mother, she still cries)
(you cannot remember your older brother, Timothy, and maybe that makes it easer when you kill him)
