Chapter 1
You weren't just a star to me, you were my whole damn sky
Rey opened her eyes and felt as if her whole world was spinning, and slowly pushed herself off the ground. Her sweat was glistening down her face, and her breathing was shallow. Her eyes landed on Kylo Ren's body, her first instinct was to run to his side, and without knowing it she followed her body's reaction. He was breathing, and he was alive, and it suddenly hit her what he had asked her to do, and she quickly removed her hand from his face. Tears were still streaming down her face "I'm so sorry Ben, I can't, not now" she whispered.
"There might be so much wrong in this world, but you forget that there are also good things" she sniffed and removed a lock of his hair from his face, before fleeing the scene.
For some unexplained reason she knew exactly where to go, and she managed to find and escape in Snoke's escape pod.

After the battle on Crait a week later, Rey sat in the back of the falcon, with the torn-up lightsaber in her hand. Would it have been so awful to join him? She couldn't help but ask herself. Of course, it would, it wouldn't be on her terms, but his. What would make her think that he would listen to her, and why should she listen to him in the first place. A mix of sorrow and anger flooded her emotions, and she had a hard time settling in her bunk bed. Suddenly an emotion of disappointment rushed over her, and she felt it the anger in the force.
"Why?" was all that escaped his mouth.
"I…." was all that escaped her mouth, she felt his emotions down to her bones, and it felt so cold.
Ben stood tall, with his fist clenched, his anger and disappointment had no boundaries in the that moment.
"How could you turn me down? We could have ended it all right there!" he yelled and threw something across the room that Rey couldn't identify. His sudden anger and voice made her jump a little and she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before speaking.
"I'm sorry Ben, but you put me in a position that I couldn't accept, and how could it? You asked me to kill my friends… and your mother" stressing out the last part.
Ben hands relaxed and he suddenly felt a sense of calm slowly building in his body, sadness took over him. Her emotions not his, she was staring at him. With those eyes, the same eyes that she had in the woods when they first meet, so much anger and fear.
Without a notice she disappeared, and he was left alone in his room. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, exactly the same way she did. He didn't understand why she did not accept him, but at some point, in the back of his head he knew the reason.
A month after the battle of Crait, Ben was finally in his room, he felt as if he had run a race against body was aching for some rest and sleep, and tonight he could feel that he couldn't fight it. He hadn't slept at all since the battle on Crait, his body became heavier as he threw himself in bed. He suddenly woke up and felt someone moving by his side. He turned over and could almost not recognize her, she was naked and under the silk covers from his bed, it covered half of her body. A scar from her right shoulder to her left waist was showing, he gently touched the scar.
"Darling?" Rey muttered half asleep, before she turned on her stomach and face him.
"What's wrong?" She asked gently and with a smile.
Ben woke up from his dream and realized that he was back in his room, and alone. What was this sort of empty feeling he had inside of him, he placed a hand on his chest and felt it beat faster than it usually did. All because of her.
He tried to shake the feeling of and got dressed, he had a meeting he had to attend to, he had a plan for how things would be under his rule. A specific one, with or without her, this was his path, he had foreseen it when they had touched hands back on Alch-To.
Their hands lightly touched and they both were taken back by the sudden vision that appeared. Rey stood near a lake and turned around to see Ben "Well guess who decided to join me in person this fine evening" she joked and smiled at him.
Ben smiled back and kissed her forehead "I figured you were tired of only seeing me in force mode, and on an important day as this, I would only dare to do so" he threw back at her and took her hand in his. Rey was wearing a puffy white dress, with a long trail with laces, and a silver crown with beadings, that flowed beautifully down her long hair. Ben was in a black suit, with a black cape which hinted a red fabric underneath.
Rey stood up and moved towards the balcony over the city and turned back to face him. 'Good gracious she was beautiful and all his in less than an hour'
"If you want to marry me, then it would be the least you could do" she stated and threw him a big smile that would always melt his heart.
They looked over the city of Chandrila.
"We did it Ben, we brought everyone together. You did this, you made it possible" she said as she took his hand and kissed it lightly.
"Not without you" he whispered in her ear, before placing a light kiss on her lips.
Was the vision wrong, but he felt it as clear as day, and she saw it herself. She told him, when they were in the elevator, before they meet Snoke. "As clear as I see you now" was what she had said back then. Was he a fool, he couldn't put more into it now, he had an important meeting with a broker on Canto bight. They needed more tech, and he knew exactly where to get it. He put on a black coat and white gloves, before exiting his room and moving on to the bridge, to see General Hux.
"Ready my ship" Ben said to a nearby stormtrooper.
"Yes, Supreme leader" The stormtrooper nodded before leaving them both.
"Ah Supreme leader, I guess you have everything in order before the meeting tonight" General Hux said with annoyance in his voice, he normally did this, and the Supreme leader who decided to do it himself. Well it made it seem like he was incompetent.
In Ben's head it wouldn't exactly be completely wrong, he and Hux had two different views on what the future plans were. The more Ben kept it to himself and was able to leave the General in the dark, the better.
"Are you telling me that you have no trust for your Supreme leader" Ben stated coldly, and the general's facial expression changed, and he quickly bowed.
"No of course not"
Ben didn't say anything and turned quickly and left for his ship.

Rey stood looking over the waters at the Naboo rebel hangar, it was evening, and the sun was slowly hiding, from the horizon. Rey was sitting on a bench, with a blanket around her that she found in the falcon. She needed to be alone, and for once there was no one, not from the rebellion, or a certain someone who happened to be the new Supreme leader of the first order. Kriff she hated when he was called that, the only image she had in her head of him was from the time when he was still wearing his stupid mask. Now she had a hard time looking at him without having the feeling of wanting to run her fingers in his hair. She quickly closed her eyes and shook her head, now wasn't the time to think in that direction, and she knew it. She had a mission later, and she had been trained by Leia in conversation and etiquette, they needed this to be able to find funding's for the rebellion. They had to convince the upper class in their beliefs, and the only way to do so, was to show that you had enough rebels and fighters. Rey could feel a tingle in the force and turned her back, and saw Leia smiling at her.
"I felt that you needed your space" she said with a smile, before sitting beside her.
Rey grimaced and tried to hide it, by turning her face away from Leia, and then turning back and smile sweetly at her.
"You can't hide it Rey, not from me" Leia said with a calm smile.
"It's quite alright dear, sometimes it's just needed, or it might drive you mad, or turn you into a hermit like Luke" she joked the last part and laughed lightly.
"I know, I just needed this before tonight" she said with a smile.
"Ready?" Leia asked and held out her hand.
Rey took it gently and nodded, and they walked back to Leia's nearby estate.
Finn arrived at Rey's door and knocked on it gently.
"Come in, she's done" Leia quickly answered, and Finn carefully entered, and was taken back by the sight that hit him.
"Wow" was all that escaped his mouth.
"That was what I was going for" Leia joked and smiled at Rey.
Rey was in a silk blue gown, with a low back. It hugged her every curve, and she wore a simple necklace that dropped in the back, the pearl at the end of a golden string, lightly teasing her skin. Her hair was styled in a simple side bun, her golden earrings played with the light in the room.
"We should leave now, like Poe is getting impatient, and he just started and argument with Rose, and I can't listen to another Poe is an annoying porg story tonight before bed" Finn stated quickly and used his hands to emphasize the importance.
Rey grabbed her lightsaber and attached it with a strap to her upper thigh hiding it from plain sight. "Coming" she quickly said and grabbed a white shawl with her, and smiled quickly at Leia, before exiting the door.
The voices of Poe and Rose, was getting louder and she couldn't help but chuckle.
"I'm sorry Finn, but I think it's to late" she stated to him with a smile while walking.
"No Poe, if you do that, then it will be the fifth time that you burn it up, you need to stop being so rash and stop for once to think about it" Rose said using her hands to point at an older x-wing.
"I'm sorry Rose, but I'm just not used to an older model" he said and had his hands on his hips, and when he got his eyes on Rey he became silent.
"Wow" was all that escaped his mouth, and Rose's.
"Well I think you might get a new one soon" Rose said calmly and tapped his shoulder, before walking over to Finn.
"Please be careful Rey" she said and gave her a light hug.
"Don't worry I will, or at least I will get there in one piece, since I got the best pilot the rebellion has to get me there" she said with a wink.
"Don't worry I got ya!" Poe said and walked towards one of their subtler ships, since the falcon and an x-wing would attract to much attention on Canto Bite.
Rey walked behind Poe, and almost stumbled over her own feet in her heels, Poe turned around quickly and grabbed her arm, so that she wouldn't hit the ground.
"Sorry.. I got it" she said while straightening herself up, she could do this just for tonight. They had gone through the plan over and over again and again, she could almost recite it in her sleep.
"Thank you" she mumbled
"Good thing it's not me, I don't ever want to try that again" Poe said and mumbled the last part.
"Say what?" Finn exclaimed with a stunned look, that would have been a sight to see the great Poe Dameron in other rather unusual clothing.
"Nothing" Poe exclaimed and heard a light grunt and laugh from Leia as he entered the ship.
Rey raised a finger as she walked in the ship, and Poe quickly glanced at her.
"No comment, and don't" was all he said and sat down in the pilot seat.
As they arrived their destination, Poe had disguised himself as a fancy pilot who was just a servant for his master.
Rey got out of the ship and took a deep breath as she placed a white laced mask over her eyes. She walked into the building which was golden and filled with life, and laughter, she understands why Finn would have been tricked to believe that this place was a paradise. After hearing stories from Rose, she knew that it wasn't the case. Unfortunately, it wasn't a luxury that she could afford to look more into now. The room she entered was grand and spacious, with windows everywhere from ceiling to the floor, a giant model of the planet was centered in the middle of the room. There was red silk fabrics, hanging and flowing gracefully down the ceiling. She hadn't seen anything more beautiful, it almost took her breath away. Her eyes, slowly followed carefully every step of every person in the room. A servant pasted her with a tray of drinks, and she casually took a glass, and slowly sipping it.
A man neared her, and lightly brushed her fingers, as he handed her a holodisc, she felt the young man's breath against her ear.
"The meeting has been moved, my master doesn't wish to draw attention to himself, since there is a massive present of the first order tonight." he then left, and Rey knew what he meant, she could feel it. He was close by and she couldn't let him get to her, she wrapped her shawl around her holodisc, hiding it from sight. She turned around and walked towards the exit, until a few first order commanders had entered the door, and she quickly and gracefully turned the other way. She looked at a open window, that lead to a balcony secluded from the rest of the party, and quickly headed towards it.
Ben felt it, the light shift in the force, she was here physically here. It was always different whenever they would be near each other, they could feel the force like magnets trying to pull against each other. He couldn't help but automatically follow wherever she was. Why did he need to see her, she rejected him, he couldn't explain it, he needed to?
Then he saw a glimpse of her, she was stunning, and he noticed that there was no scar on her back, had the vision he had just been a pure dream. Maybe it wasn't a vision, it was just a dream, the disappointment was almost unbearable, but he still followed her.
Rey stopped at the edge of the balcony and glanced down, there was a lake, well at least she had a somewhat soft landing, she could almost hear Leia in the back of her head. That's very unlady like, well she wasn't exactly one, so why pretend something that she wasn't.
She didn't know if she had been standing there for too long, but she felt him, a light touch on her back, and she quickly turned around with her lightsaber in her hand. She didn't turn it on, but he had grabbed her hand right in front of her face, and he had his other hand around her waist.
"Ben" was all that escaped her mouth
