If you were reading 'A Touch of Destiny' I'm sorry but I wasn't liking it. This story will show Theydinya's character better and plus it's a hell of a lot more fun to write. Also, if you don't like Darkbrother Hood stories...Don't read it. TRUST ME! It'll probably be everything you hate. If you do like Darkbrother hood based stories, then you're in for a treat!
PS Again, I don't want any reviews saying how Theydinya is a mary-sue, or that her eyes are not red, or that Darkbrother hood stories are over done. I understand this, there's a reason for everything. If you want to nag on anything else, feel free. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Honour Thy Mother and Father
Chapter 1
Theydinya glanced over her shoulder looking back at the shore. Her unusual dark brown eyes sparkled in the moonlight. Satisfied that no one was watching her, she continued to bathe herself. Her dark blue skin and long dark hair made her difficult to see against the cover of night. She glanced over again, to make sure that her clothes were still waiting for her on the waterfront. She poured water over her dark hair and pushed it out of her eyes.
There was a crack and Theydinya quickly turned and covered herself by crouching in the still water. A bush twitched slightly, Theydinya stared until she noticed a fleck of shockingly vibrant gold hair peek from the edge of the bush.
'Blast!' Theydinya thought to herself. 'That little worm is spying on me again. I've had enough of this.' She stood up and walked out of the lake, leaving her clothes aside, and headed to the bush. The rustling of the bush became more obvious as the naked Dunmer advanced on him. "Get out." She commanded. A young Bosmer boy fell out of the bushes and in front of her feet. Terrified he looked at the ground. "Look at me, because I know you want to." She purred in a malicious way.
The boy slowly looked up, showing his tall yellow hair, square jaw and unusually black eyebrows. This should have been his dream come true, if only she wasn't so blatantly terrifying.
"I've had enough of your spying." She said angrily. "Leave me be."
"I-I-I'm so sorry, my mistress. I cannot help myself. Your beauty entrances me, it's like a beacon of light and I am a lowly moth, attracted to it." He looked back at the ground again.
"I've caught you and threatened you numerous times. You simply do not learn." She picked him up by the scruff of the neck and began to drag him down to the lake. He squirmed in her grasp and just as they reached the waters edge he broke free.
"If I can't have you, no one can!" He yelled triumphantly as he pulled a small silver dagger from its sheath. Theydinya stepped back, the boy was being irrational, and she had seen him like this at the Arena, fawning over the Grand Champion like a sad puppy. He had now gone too far.
The Dunmer woman stepped coolly out of the way of the frantic attack and quickly picked a large stone from the water. As he ran for her again, she stepped out of the way and stuck her arm out, thus clothes lining him and causing him to fall hard in the water. She stood over top of him and brought the stone down hard on his face.
Theydinya stood in the water and stared at what she had just done. A part of her was horrified, the other, much quieter part, loved what she had done. Quickly, she pushed the boy's lifeless body into the lake and watched the gentle currant take it away. As soon as it was out of her sight, she picked up her things, and went back into her small home.
