Hey there! This ym first Hatori x Tohru fic so I hope I got it right. Enjoy!

"Hatori-san?" Tohru entered Hatori's room. It was Valentines Day and she had brought Hatori chocolate. "Hatori-san!"

Hatori was lying on the floor, crumpled and pale looking.

Tohru rushed over and knelt down immediately. She grabbed his hand to make sure it was warm. She visibly relaxed when she felt the warmth in his hand. He was still alive. That was a start.

Deciding against trying to lift him, she got up and took the back pillow from Hatori's chair. After retrieving it, she carefully placed it under his head. Then, she took his legs and straightened them out. Now that he looked comfortable, Tohru placed her hand on his forehead. As she suspected, he had a fever.

Tohru got a washcloth from the sink, wetted it, and placed it on Hatori's forehead carefully.

Hatori's eyes snapped open from the coldness of the cloth. He quickly looked around, registering where he was and why he was there. "Tohru-san…?"

"Hatori-san!" Tohru said excitedly. "You're awake!"

Hatori sat up, causing the cloth to fall into his lap. "What happened?"

"I was coming over here to give you chocolate and I found you like this. I was just relieved you hadn't transformed!" Tohru said, smiling.

Of course she would be like this. Tohru always dwelled on the good, not the bad. That was only one of the things he loved about her. Hatori smiled. "Thank you," he said quietly.

"Oh, not at all. It was nothing," Tohru replied while waving her hands in front of her face, refusing to take credit.

Hatori smiled a small smile. How happy she always was. She was like the sun that melted the cold snow in spring, making it possible for the flowers to bloom. Hatori brushed a stray strand of hair behind Tohru's ear. "You're beautiful," he said.

Tohru blushed, surprised at his remark. "Wh-what? No... I'm not pretty at all." Even though Tohru denied Hatori's words she had to smile. Everyone else called her cute but Hatori thought that she was beautiful.

"Yes you are," Hatori replied. "You always have been… Tohru." The way he said Tohru was softer, more gentle, like a breeze, almost. Hatori tilted Tohru's chin and kissed her softly. They hadn't been a couple for long, so this was their first kiss. It fulfilled what they both thought it would be like and much else.

They felt safe together, like nothing could tear them apart. Everything was perfect in that one moment. How long it was, they didn't know. Minutes, hours, seconds, it didn't matter to them.

Tohru felt like she should pull back, but she couldn't bring herself too. It was hopelessly true. She was in love.

Was it good? I hope so! Tell me what you thought in a review!
