Ahsoka stabbed a stormtrooper through the chest, killing him instantly. Three walkers surrounded her, and trained their heavy cannons on her. A stun blast from another stormtrooper knocked her to the ground. The walkers guns charged up to fire, but before they could, Ahsoka heard three shots. The walkers fell to the ground. She heard someone running and several more shots were fired. The stormtroopers fell, and Ahsoka glanced up as someone grabbed her arm and hauled her up. She saw a human woman with shoulder length brown hair, piercing green eyes and pale skin. The woman looked familiar, but Ahsoka couldn't place why.

"Hello, Ahsoka. I guess we're even now, aren't we?"

The woman's words caused Ahsoka to flash back to a battle during the Clone Wars, years earlier.

14 Years Earlier...

17 year old Ahsoka Tano lunged, slashing a battle droid's legs out from under it. She heard a scared whimper as she beheaded the droid. She reached out with the Force, and felt a presence that she didn't recognize. She tracked it, and came to where a little human girl who appeared to be 6 years old lay curled in a ball, under a wrecked Separatist tank. She had shoulder length brown hair, and pale skin.
"Hey," Ahsoka said gently, and the girl looked up.

"Get away from me!"

The girl had piercing green eyes, which were rimmed with tears.

"I'm not going to hurt you, little girl. What's your name?"
"Get away!"

"My name is Ahsoka Tano. I'm a Jedi. I'm one of the good guys," Ahsoka said, reaching out.

"Wait, you're a Jeedai? My...my name is Ivy."
Ahsoka couldn't help but smile at Ivy's mispronunciation of Jedi.

"It's nice to meet you, Ivy. Where are your parents?"
"I don't know," Ivy choked out, "I haven't seen them since the attack started! We went to evacuate, like we were instructed, and we got separated."

"I'm sorry."

Before Ahsoka could say anything else, she heard the familiar sound of a mortar launching. She pulled Ivy out, the girl crying out, and ran. The tank exploded as the mortar struck it. They were thrown to the ground, Ahsoka cushioning Ivy's landing with her whole body.

"Are you okay, Ivy?"

Ivy nodded, and they got up, fleeing.

"Ahsoka to Anakin! Come in Anakin!"

"Skywalker."

"I'm leaving the battle, Master. I'm getting a little girl out of the way of danger."

The village was supposed to be empty, due to the earlier evacuation.

"Roger that, Ahsoka. I'll have someone pick her up."
"Master, I think right now she needs someone with her. I'm not leaving her behind. I'm staying with her."

Ivy let out a cry.
"MOM!"

She ripped her hand free of Ahsoka's and ran to where a woman lay lifeless on the ground. Ivy sobbed into the woman's still chest, and Ahsoka felt a twinge of pity for her. Ivy looked around, and saw a man laying on the ground.

"DAD!"

She ran to the man's side, and sobbed into his chest as well. Ahsoka joined her.

"Ivy, I am so sorry."

Now...

"Ivy?"

"Hello, Ahsoka."

"I...how have you been?"

Ivy slung her rifle over her shoulder and smiled at Ahsoka.
"It's good to see you again, Ahsoka."

Ahsoka nodded.
"I'm glad to see you, Ivy. I never actually thought I'd see you again."
"Well, here I am."
