Hey guys, I decided to make a one-shot on how drinking and driving is not safe.
Reviews are welcome!
Gabriella's mind has been set on how today has been the anniversary of her fathers death. She has been crying and sobbing all day, thinking of what she could have done before her father was in a car with one of his friends who was recently drinking, her mind was all a blur thinking of too many thoughts at once. She decided to clear her mind, by doing one of her favorite things, writing poems...
Near
to the door
she paused to stand
as she took her class ring
off
his hand
all who were watching
did not speak as a silent
tear
ran down her cheek
and through her mind
the memories
ran
of the moments they walked
and ran in the sand hand and
hand
but now her eyes were so terrible cold
for he would never
again
have him to hold
they watched in silence
as she bent
near
and whispered the words..
"I LOVE YOU" in his
ear
she touched his face and started to cry
as she put on her
ring and wanted to die
and just then the wind began to blow
as
they lowered his casket
into the snow...
this is what
happens
to woman alive...
When friends let friends...
drink
and drive.
A/N: I didn't think this was one of my best poems, but oh well, I tried, reviews are welcome! First one-shot, no flames please.
