Hello everyone! I know that some of you are probably waiting for my Chamber of Secrets story, and I promise that I am almost done with the first chapter. However, I got this idea and I just had to post it. This is a song from the play How to Eat Like a Child. Bold is Harry singing, italics is Draco singing and underlined is both singing. I do not own Harry Potter or How to Eat Like a Child! Enjoy! This takes place during the summer before their first year at Hogwarts.
Harry Potter stomped up to his room at the Dursley's. The summer was coming to an end and he was very happy about it, because he was finally going to be where he belonged. Harry had been counting down the days until he would leave for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Dursleys had just sent him up to his room because he had gotten back at Dudley for treating him like a punching bag all the time. His aunt and uncle told him that he would be up there for the rest of the summer.
Meanwhile, at Malfoy Manor, Draco Malfoy had been sent up to his room for arguing with his father about getting a racing broom for Quidditch. Draco didn't think it was fair that first-years weren't allowed their own brooms. No matter how much he pleaded, his father wouldn't let him get one.
Both Harry and Draco began to pace back and forth in their rooms. Harry began to sing.
I hate them! I hate them! I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!
Okay I cut my cousin's hair short. Very.
Draco, still pacing, decided to sing as well to get his frustration out.
For that they throw me into solitary.
With nothing up here but my private new chess set and spellbooks to keep me distracted
Both began to sing together.
Well I think they overreacted
Where is justice
Where is fair play
Where is my suitcase I'm running away tonight
Since nobody loves me i'll quietly drop out of sight
Both boys pulled out their school trunks and a piece of parchment. They began to write.
Dear parents I won't see you anymore
I tried for ten years but you wrecked it
Just leave my allowance outside the door
And four times a year i'll come by late at night to collect it.
Sayonara! Goodbye for good
Don't feel guilty. Even though you should!
Tell grandma to think of me now and then
Tell the whole school that i've relocated
Tell Dudley his hair will grow out again. I still think that hairdo's the best one I ever created
Sayonara! This is no bluff!
Goodbye Forever!
"Draco, come on down for dinner." Narcissa called.
Back in Harry's room, Petunia pushed a bowl of tomato soup through the doggy door on Harry's bedroom door.
"Thank goodness."
I've suffered enough!
I hope that you all enjoyed this story! Review!
