Fanfiction:  Ordinary Day

Summary: This is what happens when I stay up until one in the morning after watching JL.  A fanfiction author visits the Watchtower and talks to the superheroes.  .

Disclaimer:  I don't own Justice League.  I do own myself and this plot.

"Oh, yeah, just another ordinary day at the Watchtower," grumbled Wally West, pushing his red cowl back off his face and shaking out his disheveled red hair.  "There is no such thing as an ordinary day at the Watchtower!  Especially not with YOU here," he added, glaring at the slender woman who was sitting quietly on the chair in front of the 'Tower's monitor screens, typing on a laptop.

"Flash – Wally – I assure you I'm not going to interfere.  This is simply a fanfiction focusing on what your everyday lives are like at the Watchtower.  I'm not going to interfere in any way.  I am only taking notes," she murmured, not even glancing up.

"Yeah, right.  The last time an author stopped by 'just to take notes,' she nearly blew up the Tower!  And, may I add, she is your best friend!"

"Wally, I realize that SolarisJaneway is not as restrained as I can be – and intend to prove myself as being – but please bear in mind that she never did publish that particular story.   This is only an observational run for me, I'm not writing the fiction on this visit."

"What do you mean, on THIS visit?  You're going to come back? Again?!"

"Only if I need to, Wally," she answered dispassionately.  Quietly rising, she tugged her tight, slightly-too-short green top back into place, just over the waistline of her black jeans.  Her polished black belt and boots gleamed softly in the lighting as she retrieved her computer and walked off, seeking the other members of the Justice League.  Flash promptly leapt to his feet and followed her.  Although no authors could enter the Watchtower without permission from at least one team member, that did not mean he trusted her not to damage something.

The pair of them passed J'Onn J'Onzz in the hallway, and the author grinned sheepishly.  "Hi, J'Onn."

"Hello, Sarah.  Are you writing another story?"

Blushing slightly under his gaze, the young woman grinned and nodded again.  "A story focusing on your ordinary, everyday lives up here.  Where are the others?"

"In the kitchen.  Come," he offered, and glided off down the corridor with the author running behind him.  Left on his own, Wally huffed, indignant.

"Oh, sure.  Run off with the Martian and leave me alone here.  Don't mind me, I'll just go back to monitor duty…  Alone…"

Sarah suddenly poked her head around the corner, blinking calmly at him.  "Wally?  Aren't you coming?"

Flash grinned at her, then nodded.  "If you insist."

This one is a little unusual by normal standards, so I will rely on feedback as an indication of whether or not I should continue.
