This was supposed to be drabble, but then it ended up being much longer than I intended. This story is born from my current obsession with getting a Rubik's Cube right now, and reading Skip Beat manga. I wrote all of this just last night, so it's not the finest story, but I hope you enjoy! The quote at the end isn't mine; it's Ren's and the rightful owner(s) of Skip Beat. Disclaimer: I do not own Skip Beat.

Kyoko Mogami was puzzled. Different kanji was scribbled all over the 3D object and it wasn't making any grammatical sense.

"How did this get in my pocket anyway?" She found her thoughts drifting to yesterday where she spent her time at the home of a certain Emperor of the Night. She had taken on a new movie project and was consulting her senpai on the matter.

Per his request, Kyoko ended up cooking for him and her attention completely consumed with the preparation, but was still keeping up her end of the conversation.

"I just don't know, Tsuruga-san. This character is unlike me in every way possible. When I read how she decided to take her boyfriend back, even after he tossed her to the side, I just lost it. That definitely isn't something I would have done", she confided in him.

"But that's what your job is as an actress. If you can convince yourself you're this character, you can convince your audience as well", Ren was as composed and as matter-of-fact as always.

She sighed, "I guess you're right. Ok!" her eyes shined with determination, "I'll do so well, even Sho Fuwa has to acknowledge me!"

Ren's lips curled into a smile. He stood on his long legs and walked himself into the kitchen, standing right behind her.

"But if you're still having trouble, why don't I use a magic spell?"

As she turned around to face him, Kyoko's face screamed excitement, "Really? You can do that?"

"I can use some magic words", he teased.

"Please do! Please do!"

"Ok…close your eyes."

She did so. For a small second she felt a nearing heat in front of her face, but then it disappeared and she felt her hand dip as a weight was pressed into it.

"Open them."

There in her hand was her tan jacket that she has placed on the arm of the couch Ren had been sitting on.

Now in the privacy of her bedroom, after a few hours, Kyoko had managed to the quandary. All the heat rushed to her face as she mouthed the words on the colored cube, but then smiled warmly and pumped her free hand into a fist, radiating fiery willpower.

But…those emotions, touch and scent, does not excite my heart to the point where I'm beside myself. And not like now, makes me feel, a woman could be…this lovely.

I hope to read reviews! Until next time!
