THE INTRUDER

Jane had an eerie feeling about the messy bronze haired man sitting in the corner table of the restaurant. She noticed that he was looking frequently at his watch and seemed to be waiting impatiently for someone. The expression on his face was a mixture of irritation, annoyance and petulance. But something in his beautiful green eyes gave away his love for the he was waiting for. His looks didn't give away his age but the expression on his face made him much older than he was. He looked so vulnerable that Jane knew that if the person he was looking didn't come, he wouldn't be at rest. Jane's attention was so focused on the man that she didn't realize that the door had opened until the man's eyes darted quickly towards the door with a twinkle of hope in them. A girl entered into the restaurant. There was no need to tell that she was one he was looking for. His eyes told them all. The girl was neither beautiful nor ugly. She was a typical ordinary girl with her long brown hair made into a messy pony and had worn a pair of jeans and a smiley t-shirt. She might have been a little over seventeen or eighteen years old. But her beautiful chocolate brown eyes held a grim look. A look that was way too mature for a girl of her age, a look that called out loud that she had suffered a lot. Her eyes were thirsty for a drop of love and concern. Her eyes ran all around the restaurant and rested on the man sitting in the corner. She gave out a deep sigh, walked towards him and hugged him. She then gave peck on his cheek. He looked at her as if she was the greatest treasure in this world. Jane saw his velvet voice move to a whisper, "Renesmee". A tear dropped from the girl's eye and fell on his lap. A tear which announced that it had finally found its final destination. Jane heard the girl whisper back," Daddy". The way she called. Jane felt that the word was made just for him. Jane felt herself as an intruder. She knew that she had to leave now. It was their moment, a moment when no one could intrude into. A happy Daddy- Daughter moment. Jane left the restaurant. Her heart filled with a happiness of reunion, a sort of happiness that she had never experienced before.
