Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender, nor do I own Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus or "Rock Star." Nor am I making money by posting this poem.

A/N: Original completion date: 2/2/10. This one involved a lot of syllable counting. I guess you could say the poem goes through all three seasons. The three types of martial arts mentioned are the creators' basis for three of the forms of Bending: Waterbending, Earthbending, and Firebending. Read and review? Please?

"Avatar"

Sometimes, I look up at the sky and wonder,

When is the comet going to appear?

Some days, I spend a little extra time on my training,

'Cause the day draws near.

In me, a deep fright,

Makes me think I might

Run away, like I did once, but I know

Although back then, I ran away,

I've returned. And I'm here to say,

"I'm unusual, not so typical

(Even though I love playing around),

Tai chi practicing, air ball champion,

Traveled places both near and far . . .

I might even be the Avatar.

I might even be the Avatar!"

Sometimes I wish I could simply be

Just myself, a kid who likes to play.

Then I recall that I have to fulfill destiny,

So, what can I say?

Even if I stumble,

I won't be crumbled,

By all the pressure that I'm under.

On the inside, shying away—

On the outside ready to say,

"I'm unusual, not so typical

(Even though I love messing around),

Hung Gar practicing, Pai Sho champion,

Setting standards way above par . . .

I might even be the Avatar!

If you knew the power within me . . .

I might even be the Av-a-tar.

I'm telling you, I've lived for centuries!

Oh, wouldn't it be neat if you could see

That I really am the Avatar!

Yeah, I really am the Avatar!

"I'm unusual, not so typical,

Total master of goofing around,

Kung fu practicing, fire dance champion,

Glowing up and raising the bar . . .

All over the world, I'm a star . . .

'Cause I really am the Avatar.

'Cause I really am the Avatar!

I am the Avatar!"
