'Twas On Waverly Place
by Pwnguin
Twas the night before Christmas
And on Waverly Place
Tension rose among the siblings
With a groan on father Russo's face.
"Out!" he screamed. "Out on the terrace
I'm sick of all this fight.
Dress warm, grab a pillow
You're sleeping there tonight."
Accusations rose a'scream.
"It's Justin's fault!" Alex cried.
"He's the one that started it
He should sleep outside."
But arguments were for naught.
The elders held their clenched jaws.
"On the bright side," Max said,
"Maybe you'll see Santa Claus."
So the youngest one joined them
For their Christmas Eve nighter.
The stars were in no contest
For Manhattan shined much brighter.
Still the siblings held their grudge.
If they talked, none could hear it.
"Come on guys, it's Christmas.
Where's your holiday spirit?"
"Santa's coming, can you tell?
Can you feel it in the air?"
And right on cue, almost like magic
Sleigh bells rang somewhere.
The Russo siblings looked up
And a flash of red passed by.
A warm feeling gentled down
And stars appeared in the sky.
The eldest took a breath,
"There is no doubt now."
He took his sister in a hug
And she forgave him, somehow.
The Christmas spirit rose again
And the Russos now believe,
The magic of wizards cannot compare
To the magic of Christmas Eve.
oh man, could I get any cheesier? xD
so I felt kinda bad for not writing in a while. so I did tonight.
I didn't realize that I messed up the format of the original poem, but that doesn't really matter, right?
so before Christmas, I'm hoping to write a Christmas SWAC fic, a Christmas Hannah fic, and another chapter of Letters...
so. review anybody?
