Taiga slowly opened her eyes to the small sunray streaming through the window from the rising sun.

The small girl yawned, and turned on bed to look at her new husband, and she smiled. They had gotten married two days ago, and they were staying at a brand new house they bought.

His arms were around her in his sleep, holding her close. She was secretly, happy he was holding her close enough to touch and hear his heart beating softly; happy that he was reminding her that he was there, and that she was not alone.

Taiga very much remembered her time before her blue-haired true love. She used to be alone and abandoned by her family, shunned out at thrown into that apartment that was nothing close to what she'd consider a 'home.' Home was happiness and family. That was an empty place with no one there to welcome her home, no one there to talk to her after school, no one there to hold her when she cries, no one there to tuck her in at night. No, that was a sad, empty, useless…lonely home.

Then she met Ryuuji and his family. The more she knew about them…the closer she got…the less she began using that poor excuse of a home. That's when she realized where she belonged. That's when her heart began skipping a beat when they called her family.

And she knew one thing for sure; now she was never alone.
