It was a chilly, fall day in Bubbletucky. The leaves were changing colors and were beginning to fall off the trees.

The Bubble Guppies had already gotten to school, and were hanging their stuff in their cubbies. The only people who weren't there were Mr. Grouper and Deema

"Gilly, where's Mr. Grouper?" Molly asked her blue-haired friend as they were hanging up their coats.

Gil just strugged. "He's never been late before," he replied. "Let's sit down for Circle Time while we wait for him."

As the Guppies began sitting down in their usual spots, Deema had finally arrived at school. It was almost like she ran the whole way; There was a bit of sweat on Deema's forehead and she was panting so much.

"Hiya, Guppies!" she greeted her friends once she has caught her breathe. "Sorry I'm late. I overslept."

"Don't worry about it, Dee," Gil said. "Mr. Grouper's running kinda late as well."

Deema sighed in relieve as she hanged up her stuff up and sat next to Oona on the Circle Time carpet.

"Hey, have you guys heard?" Deema stated. "A new kid is starting school here today!"

"A new kid?" Molly repeated. "That's right," Deema said proudly.

"Wow!" Gil exclaimed. "A new kid in Bubblefield Preschool!" "We haven't had any new students here in a while," Nonny added. The other Guppies began chanting excitedly about their new classmate when Oona asked Deema, "What do you know so far?"

"About the new kid?" the blonde-haired drama queen answered. "Well, I heard that it's a girl who has moved to Bubbletucky with her family not so long ago, and that she's a merchild like us."

"Shh..." Nonny shushed his friend. "Mr. Grouper is coming."

And so class had started.
