A/N: This is pure fluff, but M rated nonetheless. It's this fandom's first M, so sorry if anyone thinks I'm lowering the tone! It's also my first published M rating, and it's very mild, but I'm still blushing as I do it. Please review!

They've only been together a few weeks, but she's learnt a lot in that time.
She's learnt that his lips feel every bit as good on hers as she'd remembered.
She's learnt that he's got a really sensitive spot on his neck, and when she kisses and licks it, it drives him mad.
She's learnt that, although she thought that first times were always awkward and strange and ultimately slightly disappointing, actually they can be loving and tender and amazing and mind-blowing and a whole load of other adjectives that her loved-up brain can't even think of.
She's learnt that now he's woken up her long-dormant libido, she can't get enough of him, and it seems that the feeling's entirely mutual.
She's learnt that it's possible to successfully lead a briefing with the whole team whilst being so aroused she can barely think straight, just from a few murmured words and a meaningful look in a busy incident room.
She's learnt that he's a fast learner too, and already he knows what she likes and it's almost embarrassing how quickly he can make her come.
She's learnt that when he sits up and she straddles him, their height difference doesn't matter any more, because their faces are on the same level and she can look right into those gorgeous eyes as she moves up and down on him.
She's learnt that they both love sleepy early morning sex, and she's learnt that it's much better than an alarm clock as a way to be woken.
She's learnt that her children are heavier sleepers than she realised.
She's learnt that, despite the fact that he's only the third lover she's ever had, and it's well known that he's played the field since his marriage broke up, when they're together there's just the two of them and none of that matters.
She's learnt that, although the sex is fantastic, it feels wonderful just to lie in his arms, as they tentatively talk about a future together, their hopes and dreams.
She's learnt that the reason he never got serious with any of the women he's dated since he's been back in Manchester is because none of them were her.
She's learnt that, despite everything he's said in the past, he really would have liked to have a child of his own, although he's resigned himself now to the fact that he probably never will.
She's learnt that, although she thought she was finished with pregnancy, childbirth, sleepless nights, breastfeeding, nappies... if Mother Nature decides to co-operate with a woman of her age, she'll happily go through it all just one more time, for him.
She's learnt that, even when deep down you've known for a long time that somebody's in love with you, when they finally tell you for the first time it can make you smile more than you have done in years.
She's learnt that no matter how much Pete hurt her, she can fall totally and completely in love again.
