Nobody had ever heard of them in the myths, but they were real. A blessing from the gods. The most powerful half-bloods around. Set after TLO.

"Camper's, I have an announcement to make," Chiron, Camp Half-Bloods activities director, said. The Apollo cabin had just finished the sing along at the campfire, and the campers were getting ready to head back to their cabins. But now, they drifted back to; the campfire to here Chiron's announcement. Jenna Lansa, a twelve-year old undetermined girl in the Hermes cabin sat back down on a log, as far away from her brown-haired sea green-eyed twin brother David as possible. She brushed her reddish brown hair out of her sea green eyes, and thought once again how this and her eyes were the only thing the same between them. She and her brother had a rocky relationship, and they had just gotten into a huge argument about who was better at archery.

I sure hope this is good news, she thought, I sure could use some. The twins had been at camp since they were ten, they had arrived only two days after Percy Jackson had defeated Kronos. Now the twelve-year olds had only one year left for their godly parent to claim them. Nobody had any idea of who it was, and the fact that they didn't have any mortal parents that they knew just made it harder to predict. Jenna was thinking about this as the rest of camp settled down. She was jerked back into reality as Chiron started his speech.

"For you to understand, I first must tell you a legend, a tradition of the gods." Jenna saw that many campers had puzzled expressions on their faces, but Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, who were sitting next to Chiron, seemed to know what he was going to say. The two heroes were probably Jenna's best friends at camp, even though they were six years older than her. Nobody else paid her any attention, she was just an ordinary unclaimed camper, who happened to like to prank the other cabins, especially Apollo's, for some reason. Chiron continued.

"Every couple of centuries, several of the Olympian gods come together to create a blessing for the heroes on Earth. This hero is not powerful until they realize who they are, but when they do, they are as powerful as a child of the elder three gods. The gods have sent us a message htat that have created their blessing, they should be around ten or twelve by now. All of the gods but Ares, Hades, Hera, and Apollo contributed. These gods, sadly, probably want to kill the hero. The other gods have said that by Sunday (It is Wednesday in the story), he blessing will be identified. The reason I am telling you this is that if anybody sees anything, anything at all, that is strange or unusual happening, you need to tell me immediately. Does anybody have any questions?"

About three hands went up. "Yes, Connor?" he asked the head counselor of the Hermes cabin.

"So, these blessings of the gods are basically perfect heroes?" he asked.

"No, far from it. They are here to teach us a lesson, one that you will not know until you have learned it. But they are not perfect." Chiron answered. The rest of the hands went down. They had obviously had the same questions. " Okay, you may go back to your cabins now," Chiron dismissed the campers. As Jenna walked back to her cabin, she caught up to David. She tapped him on the shoulder, and was going to apologize. He swung around and glared angrily at her.

"What do you want?" he asked crossly. "Want to fight with me more? 'Cause I sure don't." He pushed her, and she tumbled backwards.

" I just wanted to say sorry," she said, but David had already sprinted to the cabin.

Sorry it's so short, it didn't look that short on Word!
