A pink haired teenager was sleeping peacefully on her feather light mattress. Her pale skin seeming to glow as the sun's rays shone through a slightly uncovered corner of her bedroom window. She looked absolutely serene, her eyelids closed, covering her bright green emerald eyes. Her pink plump lips parted slightly, and her chest heaving up and down slowly as she breathed a slow and steady pace.

Her peaceful sleep was suddenly interrupted as her alarm clock started beeping loudly. The teenager stirred a bit as her eyes fluttered open, revealing her stunning green eyes.

She rubbed her right eye with the back of her hand, trying to regain her vision, with her alarm clock still continuously beeping loudly. She sat upright and clenched her right hand, forming into a fist, and in a swift movement, she slammed it hard on her poor alarm clock. It was completely smashed, some pieces scattered idly on light pink carpet, bits of screws and nails here and there.

"I can't believe it! My little bud now is blooming into a flower so soon!"

"Mom, I don't understand why you're still so giddy."

"Come on Sakura, what happened to the; 'oh my god! Mom I got accepted! I can't breathe! Hold me before I faint!' thing huh?"

"That was two days ago, you know? When I first received the letter. The excitement kind of faded now."

"Heh. I however, am still so excited for you. Anyways, do you want me to drop you off? You've missed the bus—"

"Mom—"

"—ten minutes ago and there's still another twenty minutes to spare. And it's a ten minute drive—"

"Mom I'll—"

"— so hurry up an—Oh no wait. 'Cool' kids don't let their parents drop them off now do they? Hehe…hurry then. Take your car and get your ass to school! It's your first day! Be good, and—"

"Keep smiling! Yes mom, I get it. I have to go now; I'll…call you or text you when I get to school. Okie dokie? I love you! BYE."

"Okay sweetie!"

-x-

That was exactly twenty seven minutes ago, after she awakened from her wonderful slumber and walked downstairs clad in her outfit for the day, her mother flew out of the kitchen and started gushing exaggeratedly at her daughter.

Sakura stood at the wide car park; leaning slightly on her red Mazda Sedan. There were very few students at the parking lot, and some would often look at her curiously before whispering something into their friends' ear.

She took out her manila envelope and pulled out the contents, looking for the paper which had her schedule and map. After scanning past the 'Welcome' description (she was pretty much late and so she was in a sort of rush) she flipped the paper over and found her schedule. 'Shoot...So, I've got homeroom at… 'H' block on the top floor—wait, it's five storeys?! Great, stairs. And what else..? Library? Okay then..I wonder what we're doing there. And so, library-whatever for another forty-five minutes, then straight after I have History; and then I have break…I'll study this more during break-time. I'd better head to—'

-Ring!-

"—class..Shit!" And with that, she ran off towards the main entrance, the iron gates gleaming with pride as the sunshine beat down upon it. She ran down the stone stairs, skipping three steps at a time; the trees stood tall and mighty besides the stone pathway, blowing gently in the breeze, small leaves littered around the emerald grass and rustling with the wind.

Sakura glanced at her map to make sure she was headed the right way, when she realized she wasn't, she stopped abruptly and held the paper away from her. After studying it for a mere two seconds, she slapped herself mentally and flipped the paper over. Damn thing was upside down. She heaved a sigh and ran the opposite direction, praying to the gods she'd find her room.

"OI GUYS! Guess what?!" Naruto exclaimed loudly.

"You finally grew a dick?" Sasuke said, monotonously.

"You're moving back to the jungle where you belong?" Shikamaru drawled out.

"You have a mute button?" Neji suggested, emotionlessly.

"You realize nobody fucking cares about guessing and you should just tell us now before I shove my foot up your ass?" TenTen said sharply.

Naruto backed away a bit, and scratched his cheek, "Wow...you guys are just, the bestest friends ever." He said sarcastically, "But, whatever, I heard from the welcoming committee that there's going to be a new student coming today!"

-x-

Sakura grew frustrated every turn she made and discovered it was the wrong way, "Ugh, where is it?" A bead of sweat trickled down her forehead, she wiped it off quickly and studied the map again, there were no traces of students anywhere, she could only assume she was really late, "So, where am I?"

-x-

"Th-they're arriving to-today?" Hinata asked meekly. Naruto grinned at her and all her blood went to her face, "U-um..."

"THAT'S RIGHT, HINATA-CHAN!"

His face was really close to hers, and she felt herself lose consciousness.

"Oh no! What made her faint?!" The blond exclaimed loudly, he managed to catch the girl before she hit the ground. "Your face caused her to faint," Kiba snickered, "Because it's so ugly."

"WOOF, WOOF, DOG! That's all I heard!" Naruto yelled, as he put an unconscious Hinata in Neji's arms. "I'm going to find Ino!"

"And I'm going to class." Sasuke stated.

-x-

"Hey! Ino! Guess what?"

"You're gay?! I knew it! I, Ino Yamanaka always knew that you, Naruto Uzumaki, were gay! I deserve a freakin' medal. No! A sticker! Like, those scratch 'n' sniff ones, mmm I like the bubblegum one—"

"I'M NOT GAY."

Naruto screamed at the other blond girl. Ino narrowed her baby-blue eyes and snorted derivatively, "Alright, no need to shout; anyway…what did you wanna tell me?" She said, before sitting down on a table next to Naruto's and Sasuke's, "Hurry! Before Kakashi-sensei comes."

Naruto sighed and scratched his golden locks, "Oh man, now I forgot..." Ino furrowed her eyebrows, annoyed at the boy across from her. She was gonna scold him using a long train of curses but the Uchiha next to the blond boy spoke, "There's a new student."

Ino's eyes instantly brightened up and she grinned like the Cheshire cat, "Are they a girl? Tell me she's a girl! She HAS to be a girl! I mean, we need another female in our social group! It can't just be Hinata, TenTen and I! We need another girl! TELL ME SHE'S A GIRL! But not a slutty girl because oh my gosh, enough of those, please, like, seriously—"

A light bulb appeared atop Naruto's head, "Oh yeah! That's what it was!" Completely ignoring the female blond's excitement; he stood abruptly from his seat and stepped on top of his table. He breathed in an amount of air before looking around the room, "Everyone, attention please!"

The room quieted down from its loud chattering into hushed whispers, "Yeah what?" A boy with curly brown hair asked. Naruto cleared his throat and put his hands on his hips, "There'll be a new student today and—"

"Is she gonna be hot?!"

"Is he cute?!"

"It's Jaden Smith isn't it?!"

"What do they look like?

"Is he as gorgeous as Sasuke-kun?!"

"Kristy, how could you say that? Sasuke-kun is the hottest of the hot!"

"Shut uuuup! I haven't finished!" Naruto interrupted the barrage of questions, "For all we know, she or he might not even be in our homeroom. I just wanted to let you all know that if ever you come across him or her, be nice. Okay? Good, thank you."

And he plopped back down to his seat. "If he's a guy, he'll probably be those cocky, arrogant jerks who think they have it all. If she's a girl, she'll be a snobby, bitchy princess that kisses the floor Sasuke walks on. You might get another fan girl Sasuke, be prepared." Ino thought aloud, mood completely changed. The dark-haired boy let out a groan followed by a, "Fuckin' great.."

Naruto rubbed his chin in a thinking manner, "I'm really curious. There's never a new student that arrives in the middle of the year, everyone that attends here always come on the first day."

Ino braided a strand of her hair in front of her eyes, her blue eyes crossing as she played with her long, silky blond hair, "Please, Naruto. You're exaggerating. It's only been three weeks since the beginning of the year. But, either way, she or he probably won a scholarship or something. Most of the students here get in by paying a huge amount of money because they're rich, thus, giving us they're rude, bratty selves."

"We all paid our way to this school, Ino." Naruto stated.

"Well—yeah but, that's beside the point. We aren't anything compared to those…those …things." Ino scrunched up her face for emphasis as she said the word 'things'. "Yeah, but we all have to sing to keep our place here. No matter how bad you are…"

Ino was about to reply but the door opened, revealing—

Sakura stopped running and continued walking; she kept her eyes on her paper and hadn't looked up until…

-BAM!-

"Fuuudging hell! That bloody hurt." The girl rubbed her forehead, lucky she was already flushed, or else she would have a circle of red on her forehead. "Hmph…"

She walked around the metal pole and continued following the map. The sun was shining brightly; Sakura would've been burnt to a crisp if there wasn't a cool breeze. She kept walking until a shadow overcastted her. She looked up and released the breath she was holding, "Freaking finally!" And she ran inside the huge building and quickly climbed up the stairs.

She had finally found the five storey building and made a dash up the steps of the staircase. She hadn't the time to marvel at the cleanliness of the building; the floor tiles glistening as the white lights lit up the halls.

-x-

"Kakashi-sensei! You're late!" Naruto pointed an accusing finger at their silver-haired teacher; who had their nose buried in his orange porn book. Without leaving his eyes from his book, he lifted his hand and waved at his students, "Yo." And he plopped down on his seat behind the desk.

The class soon quieted down. Kakashi propped his feet up on his desk and folded his arms behind his head, leaning on them for support. "Alright; Class, we have a new student toda—"

"I KNEW IT!" Naruto burst from his chair and abruptly stood up, annoying the Uchiha beside him. Kakashi widened his one visible eye, "Uh..Yeah well done Naruto. Good for you. Anyway the new student is a—"

"IS HE A GUY?!" Naruto asked loudly, wide blue eyes twinkling in excitement, "Huh?! Huh?! Huh?!"

"Will you let me finish?!" Kakashi asked irritated. After seeing the blond boy sitting back down on his chair with a scowl on his face, Kakashi continued, "The new student is a girl," Sasuke grumbled and furrowed his eyebrows angrily, 'Another fan girl. Fuck…' "She should've been here before me though…" Kakashi pondered on, "But, oh well."

He cleared his throat and looked at the clock, "Let's just wait for her."

-x-

Sakura finally reached the fifth floor; she put her hands on her knees and bent over, catching her breath a bit. "Now *pant* I need to *pant* find room *pant* 7." She stood up and walked down a hallway, she saw a sign on the wall that showed 'Rooms 1-12 '

The girl grinned happily and sprinted down the corridor, her shoes skidding when she turned the corner. "Finally!" She whispered quietly to herself as she saw the bright red door with a silver-plated number 7 nailed on the center. She released the breath she was holding and slowly turned the knob…

-x-

Naruto groaned and made weird annoyed moans as he tapped his foot on the white tiled floor. "You'll hear her when she's coming. The clickety clack of her freakishly high heels," Ino grumbled, "I wear heels, but not as high and dangerous as those sluts over there." She jerked her thumb towards a group of girls around Sasuke and Naruto's table; her mood still sour.

Sasuke leaned on his hand coolly and sighed in boredom. They weren't gonna do anything productive until that new girl came. And that new girl would be a slutty slut with an extra sauce of slut. Needless to say, Sasuke Uchiha wasn't very happy at the moment. He hated her already.

Naruto perked his ears up when he heard footsteps, "Did you guys hear that?!" Ino rolled her eyes and took out her silver compact mirror from her purse, "Hear what, the click, click, click of her heels?" She said sarcastically. "No… I hear footsteps."

Ino was going to reply with a snide comment before the door opened. She turned her head to the door to see the girl and her eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. As well as everyone else in the room, (exclude Sasuke and Kakashi.) Sasuke merely widened his eyes, 'So she's not a slut…but she could be a fan girl.'

-x-

Sakura fully turned the knob and opened the door, walking in slowly. The girl refused to look at her classmates as they were currently eyeing her like a hawk would with their prey. She walked straight to her sensei which had his eyes wide, "Hi," She said in her soft voice, "Um… I'm Sakura Haruno."

The lack of response from her teacher scared her; Sakura widened her emerald eyes, "Oh! I'm in the wrong room aren't I? Oh dear… but I could have sworn the thingy said room 7…" She grumbled to herself, she pulled out her papers and scanned the description, face flushed.

Kakashi snapped out of his reverie and shook his head hazardously, "N-no! This is right, you're the new student. Welcome." Sakura froze, and she lifted her head to smile a heart-warming smile at her teacher, "O-oh… Okay." She turned her head slowly to face the other students and she blushed red, "H-hello." She noticed one of them had dribble on the corner of their mouth, and she widened her eyes worriedly, "...um, is he okay… does he need... medical attention? Or...?" She asked quietly.

Kakashi smiled at his new student's behavior, she was so innocent, so pure. If it were one of the other students, the scenario would've been much more different, "So Sakura, do you mind introducing yourself?" He suggested, completely ignoring her concern over the blond boy that now had a puddle on his desk.

Sakura nodded slowly and cleared her throat, "Um, my name is Sakura Haruno. I just turned seventeen, and, yes, this is my natural hair color. I came from a high school not too far away from here and I don't have any siblings. I got accepted here for my academic abilities and I hadn't even known this school existed until two days ago when I googled it," She giggled sheepishly and her blush went even redder.

"And, that's the basic stuff...I guess." She coughed awkwardly when everyone continued to stare at her, and then her eyes lit up, "Oh! And, I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting; I got lost, this place is a lot bigger in reality than it is on the school website and google images…"

-x-

Everyone gaped and quite literally, dropped their jaws to the ground when the girl walked in, Ino especially. She mentally slapped herself twice for even thinking this girl would be a slut. She walked in with her mid-back bubblegum pink hair; being a beauty expert, Ino knew it was silky, luscious and full of volume.

She had bright emerald eyes and white porcelain skin; she looked like a china doll; expensive, luxurious, innocent, and fragile. With her heart shaped face and button nose, she was amazingly pretty. Ino could feel the other girls boil with jealousy, envy and shock; Ino however, wanted to befriend her before one of the ugly whores got within a six feet radius from Sakura.

Naruto had his mouth hung open when he saw the girl, 'She's so hottttt,' He drooled mentally, 'And pretty!' He noticed that she was a bit short for her age, but, just a tad from average.

She didn't wear short skirts and tube tops. Instead, she wore a red and white checkered button up; the sleeves rolled up to her forearm and all the buttons undone, revealing her black singlet top underneath. White denim shorts and red high top converses, with a pink messenger bag.

And she didn't have a caked on face. Instead, she had on a bit of black eyeliner and black mascara, making her eyes stand out even more. And maybe lip gloss or lip balm, he assumed, since her lips were glossy.

Sasuke was shocked beyond words; he prepared for a bratty, obnoxious, too-skinny-for-her-own-good, caked on clown, NOT, this. To say she was good-looking would be an understatement.

She didn't end up in this school because she was a spoiled, rich girl that got what she wanted with the click of her fingers; she earned a place here, 'Now… to discover if she's a fan girl or not.'

Sasuke smirked attractively at the girl when her gaze fell on him; he was expecting her to faint with blood gushing out her nose but instead, she smiled in a friendly manner; not a seductive smile, or a sultry smile; but an actual small, friendly smile.

After she smiled at him, she continued looking around the room.

Sasuke's smirk instantly dropped when she looked away, 'This girl is unbelievable. She's…heh, alright… she's pretty cute, she dresses appropriately, she doesn't cake her face, she isn't a desperate slut, she isn't the type to be a fan girl, she's the only one who isn't interested in me and...She looks so familiar...'

"Okay Sakura, you can choo—"

"WAIT. She has to sing first!" A brunette burst out, "If she's gonna stay in a musical school, she has to sing. You do know, Sakura, that you have to sing to keep your place here, are you aware of that?" The brunette said with a cocky smile present on her lips, stressing out some words.

Sakura nodded, "Yes, I'm aware."

"So do it. Sing."

The pink-haired teen was about to reply when someone cut her off, "Leave her alone, Yumi."

Sakura snapped her head towards her savior. Blue eyes. High ponytail. Long blond hair. Gorgeous.

The Yumi girl scowled and was about to retort angrily when Kakashi spoke, "Next time, Yumi," He said, his eyes warning her that if she doesn't shut her yap, he'll force something in there that would (not in a dirty way, sheesh, you guys and your sexy imaginations.) "Sakura, choose a seat."

The girl mumbled a 'thanks' before walking over to sit next to—

Sasuke was again, expecting her to sit next to him on his left side; in fact; everyone was expecting that. But, she chose to sit next to Ino. Sasuke sighed, 'Hn. Sakura...where have I...? Hm..'

Sakura smiled at the blond girl, and she smiled right back. "Hi."

"Hey."

"Um... so... hi." 'Really, Sakura? Hi? You are SO lame.' Her inner commented snidely. Sakura could only roll her eyes mentally.

Luckily, Ino was the one that broke the ice, and got conversation happening, "So, you must be pretty smart for getting into this school, huh?" Sakura fidgeted with her long hair and smiled a small smile, 'How do I respond to that?!' "Um... I don't know, sure, I guess."

The blond girl laughed at her pink-haired companion, "Sweetie, you don't have to deny your smarts. No one will think you're a conceited person," She blushed at that, "Besides, getting accepted into this expensive school is a big deal. A very big deal, actually. Congratulations!" The blond grinned at her and patted her on the back lightly.

"Thanks, um..."

"Oh? Oh yeah! My name is Ino Yamanaka, hehe...Maybe I should have begun with that..."

The pinkette held out her hand politely, "Nice to meet you, Ino-san."

The blond took the girl's hand and shook it, "Please, no formalities, haha. So...do you like anyone you see?"

Sakura could only gape at her like a goldfish, "U-um...I-I-I don't...I mean..I haven't...uh...no...?"

-x-

"She's really pretty, ne?" Naruto whispered to his best friend, "I mean...I'd tap that."

Sasuke didn't really care what he was saying until he heard his last sentence; he turned his head to him, slowly, his facial expressions showing disgust, "Dobe. That's fucking disgusting..."

Naruto feigned a hurt expression and widened his mouth, "Are you saying that you don't think she's attractive? Are you... asexual or something, or gay? I mean dude, if you are, I don't really care but you know, you can tell me, because we're best friends and everything—"

"I'm not gay," The raven-haired boy snapped harshly, "And I never said she wasn't attractive, I said that your thought of having sex with her after a brief glance disgusts me." He said with his voice monotone.

"Ohhh, so, you do think she's attractive?"

"Hn."

Naruto quirked an eyebrow, "That a yes?"

"Hn."

"Was that a yes?"

"Dobe."

"Yeah?"

"Shut up."

"Teme..." He mumbled out.

-x-

Ino couldn't hold back the laugh she was previously holding and she let it all out, gathering everyone's attention, "You... you mean, you don't like Sasuke?!"

Everybody widened their eyes and whispered harshly to their friends.

Sakura reddened and managed to speak, "F-first of all, who is he? Se-second, n-no, I don't like him because I don't know him. Third, did you HAVE to say that out loud?"

Ino's laughter subsided but the attention was still on them, "Sakura-dear, Sasuke is this hottie." And she jerked her thumb to the left.

Sakura looked at where the thumb was pointing to and she raised an eyebrow, "That blond kid? Um... no offence Ino, but he's more kawaii than he is hot," The blond boy (Naruto) pouted sadly, "Um, but you're still good looking, like, the cute kind of good looking! Not the hot kind. Oh wait... but, you are hot, but, more cute than hot, so, hot, but not that hot. I mean! — Um...Ino-san, please stop me from talking." Sakura lowered her head in embarrassment.

The blond boy chuckled hysterically and he leaned back so much he toppled down to the floor, "Oh kami... Teme, she's so cute! Like a child, an innocent, cute little child!"

Ino held back another fit of laughs, "No, Sakura, not the stupid blond kid; the guy next to the stupid blond kid."

Sakura looked again and her eyes stumbled upon the raven-haired teen she smiled at before, "Oh, him?"

The blond female nodded slowly, "Yeah, him..." Her voice trailed off and she studied the girl's facial expression, "You're… not a fan girl, are you?"

"Huh? Ew... no. I mean, don't get me wrong, he's uh...good looking and everything but, I wouldn't stoop so low as to follow him around and drool and worship the ground he steps on. I could be doing something productive during that time, like, getting good at the guitar? I suck at it..."

Sakura flicked her hand in the air frantically, "Ahaha… so, what do we do while we're in here?" She said, in hopes of changing the subject.

"Nothing at all, he lets us do whatever we want because he's too busy reading his perverted book. One of the school teachers wrote it." Ino replied surely, Sakura nodded in understanding, glad that Ino could be easily distracted.

-x-

After Naruto got back to his seat, he immediately looked at his best friend again, "Teme, did you hear that? She doesn't like you! Hahaha!"

"Whatever. I don't give a damn." He muttered harshly.

He could hear Naruto blabbing on about the newest flavor of ramen and he decided to tune him out.

Sasuke knitted his eyebrows together and gathered his thoughts, 'Why is she so familiar? Have I met her before? No, I would've remembered her, her hair is...bright. Surely I'd remember...'

"Hey, teme, I'm gonna go introduce myself. You wanna come?"

"Hn."

-x-

"Hey, Sakura-chan! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! But you can call me Naruto; although, everybody calls me 'The Mighty Ramen King!'" The same blond boy said; he appeared seemingly out of nowhere to introduce himself.

"Um...nice to meet you...uh…Naruto-san.." Sakura said unsurely, "Idiot, nobody calls you that." Ino snapped at the blond.

Sakura smiled uneasily and the male blond chose to ignore Ino, "Whatever Ino...fat bitch.." He mumbled. The blond haired girl whipped her head in Naruto's direction, "…ex-cuse me?" She seethed. Naruto widened his cerulean blue eyes with fear, as the Yamanaka girl loomed over him.

His throat ran dry and his heartbeat sped up, 'And this is how the great Naruto Uzumaki dies...' "In the hands of a wild pig..."

He hadn't MEANT to actually voice out his thoughts, it just...did. And that, ladies and gentleman, is how Naruto Uzumaki died.

Jokes.
