Hey, everyone. This is just something I wrote at 3 a.m. in morning.
I don't own Kingdom Hearts or anything related to Kingdom Hearts, the wonderful Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix do . I, Alex, just own my computer, my mind and this story.
Mirror
Darkness was something I was familiar with. She was familiar with Light. We're complete opposites.
Here we sat, facing each other. A clear thick piece of glass stood between us. The glass wall was unbreakable and stretched on and on, never stopping, never ending.
We looked so much alike and yet, we were so different than each other. We could have been twins. We could have been friends. In the end, we were enemies.
We wanted what the other one had. We both thought our lives were unfair and the other seemed to have life the way they wanted.
In the end, she won. She got to live happily and I, in darkness, inside of her.
She looked in the mirror and she could see me, in her eyes, longing and wanting. I felt empty and numb but I welcomed it. The numbness was my only companion.
The numbness blinded me. I enjoyed it. It was peaceful, even in the darkness. I closed my eyes and never opened them again. To never see the mirror.
You get what you want you want, Kairi. Thank you for showing me that.
It's lame, isn't it? Well, I'm not really proud of this one. I could have written it better and longer but oh well. This was written early in the morning and the coffee kept me awake. Sorry it's so short. Also, I couldn't think of anything else for the title and the summary is lame as well, sorry.
Please review.
Over and out.
-Alex
