"Leave me alone"

Late one dry, still Egyptian night...

Someone in shadows crept into the local inn...

She stood up, and walked over to the counter, where the manager stood behind.

"Get me a room. Now." She gave the manager some gold coins.

"Yes. Would you like to eat or drink something, ma'am?" He asked. "No." was the short answer.

He nodded, and after showing her when her room was, she headed back to the inn's first room where you come in.

"Hey, beautiful, want me to buy you a drink?" A man asked her, placing his arm around her shoulders.

"No." She answered, glaring at him.

"Why not?" He asked, apparently he didn't get the message.

"Because I don't want one, and besides, you look too poor." She stood up, slapping his hand off her.

"Hey, I'm not poor!" He retarded; his pride was clearly injured by her words.

"Leave me alone, or else..." She glared at him again, and began walking away.

"Hey, why don't we get a room or something together?" He followed her.

"I said leave me alone." She turned at him, and looked up at him, glaring.

Even though she was shorter, she didn't seemed to be afraid of him. "Aw, why should I? You're too cute." He cupped her cheek in his hand, and leaned forward to kiss her.

She slapped him.

"Leave. Me. Alone." She repeated slowly, as though she was keeping from getting angry.

"Or else."

"Or else what?" He teased, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Well, if you really want to know... Do you?" She smiled at him. "Sure, what?" He asked, leaning forward, thinking like an idiot she was going to kiss him or something.

"This." She narrowed her eyes, still smiling.

He waited to see what would happen, when he felt a terrible pain inside him, ripping him apart.

"You said you wanted to know..." She mocked him in a singsong-ish voice, as he fell to the floor, bleeding to death from where she had stabbed him between the rib cage.

"What's your name?" Someone was bothering her again, and she became annoyed by this.

She turned to see a elder woman standing behind her.

"What's it to you, lady!" She demanded.

"Uh.h.h... I just wanted to know... because ..." The woman seemed abit shaken.

"Because?" She demanded.

"Because you look like someone I know..." The woman answered.

"Who?" She demanded, keeping her voice very calm.

"You look like the Pharaoh's daughter, Princess Shariyu." The woman told her about the Royal family and other things too.

"My name is Sandra. I am not Shariyu." Sandra told the old woman. "My name is Tio." The old woman told Sandra. "I was a servant at the palace, but now, I'm just too old to work." Tio told Sandra.

"Hm, but you still visit the palace, correct?" Sandra asked, rubbing her hand on her chin.

Sandra did look like Shariyu abit, but her eyes were more narrowed, her skin a light tan, and her hair was a light reddish brown, not dark brown like the Princess's; Sandra was also taller then Shariyu by a few inches. Sandra was wearing a black dress, with a black cape and hood attached.

"Yes, that is true. I visit every now and then, and sometimes somebody, besides my daughter, pays me a visit." Tio told Sandra, who nodded.

"Hmm, where is the palace?" Sandra asked, pretending to have innocent curiousity.

Tio then told Sandra where and how to get to the palace.

"Thank you, Tio." Sandra smiled innocently at Tio; wickedly on the inside though.

Sandra sat on her bed in the inn, watching the moon from the open window.

The moon was only half-full tonight.

Sandra didn't feel tired at all, but she did lay down, and continued watching the half-cresent move across the sky.

Soon, she would make her move, and get her revenge...
